You do provide honest and correct info. As a L046 zebra pleco breeder myself that produces average 500 fry a year. I have to agree with your observations as well. However, I believe Plecoceramics is actually in Ukraine.

we use live tubifex for feeding plecos. Its rather dangenerous food, but we use a verified source of worms, and we use a drenage RO water for rinsing them. So they wash during 16-20 hours daily. And its enough ( but I dont recommend it, because tubifex can be infected with some becteria) for us to hold it for 3 days. We don't use any treatments

What do you feed l046?

Nice video again. Maybe adress tbe fact that bad housing can also result in plecos that don't grow good and will die prematurely. Problems: high nitrate, bad/low protein food, low temperature, low oxygen concentration

Hi Thomas, you are right. Thats why Ive told in this video, that its a risk to buy adults from other fish keepers, you have no idea in which condition they were raised.

@@plecoceramics Yes that is true. But if fry are raised poorly they get stuck at the 3-5cm size I have found. Maybe tell them how old the fry should be at that size

@@breedingfauna3732 yes, thats why it's very important to choose fry from the same brood, and from the same tank.

Question: if we use male and female from same breed will the fry or offspring genetic affected like become smaller size and not healthy?

yes decapsulated brine shrimp eggs is a good food for fry

No, this fish cannot live in this temperature. It needs at least 27 degrees.
