Lamont is absolutely correct about how society will sweep the murder of a good kid under the rug in favor of a story full of drama. Sad but absolutely true! RIP to this young man. Gone waaay too soon.

I remember this murder, I am actually shocked this murder didn't get solved, either by police, media or the person that did it shooting their mouths off.

What a sad story. Tragic that businesses dont have regulations in regards to security cameras. They can put up fake cameras for show and to save a buck. No concern or regard for their employees or the customers who are paying their bills 😢

One picture of him broke my heart in particular. The one with his high school friends. I had the thought, this is his life story, second thought, OMG High School pictures are generally the beginning of a person's life story but this was the end of his. 😢💔

Lots of ways for this to be solved but you know how it works generally. These people aren't squeaky clean, SOMEBODY will get arrested for something and do the old, pssstt, reduce my sentence and I got info on a murder. Don't lose hope, it's not impossible. God Bless his family and friends.

Hey Lamont! I enjoy the "walk & talk" method you're using. Its like chatting with a friend. No loud music and drama. I grew up here. My dad was always at Maple Hill auto parts. Used to be an old fashioned doda fountain in that strip mall. Shalinksky's drug. Pizza Shoppe( now Old Shawnee i think) . Lots of family buried in yhat cemetery. Graduated high school 2 miles away. My home was 2 blocks from here. My aunt lived in s house across the street from the funeral home. This story was a blip on the lical radar. Thanks for covering it in your respectful & reverant way.
