Indeed. This channel hit my feed because I was randomly watching horses. This is the only one I have stayed with. Because of Yvonne's personality. I guess most of us are like that. Uniek was beautiful, Risey is stunning, the ponies are gorgeous, but there are so many Friesian channels, Arabian channels, wild horse channels I could choose to watch. Here I am, because of one Friesian woman and her beautiful family, and her beautiful heart, and her dedication. Look after yourself. You are precious.

As a retired neurology nurse, a retired breeder of Quarter horses, and a victim of physical injuries, I know both the joy and stress of dealing with these beautiful creatures. But it is so necessary to take care of yourself; for you, your family and friends, and the horses. Just a suggestion...make yourself take at least two half hour periods a day to just stop! Even if you want to just sit or rest in the barn, with your eyes closed and listen to the horses. Be by yourself, and think only of YOU! I know this is not you, but it is so important for your body and mind. You are a wonderful person, and the world needs more people like you!

Well said, the best advice as refreshes you like nothing else. Try not to think of anything at all (hard at first) but can be achieved. Yvonne I enjoy and look forward to every video you put out, but don't do it at the risk of your health! You had a TBI just over a year ago, Risey got Wobblers, and now your best friend, Uniek, has die. You take care of your family, your horses and ponies, and dogs and cat, and you are a UTube sensation and you tape and edit your own videos...that is more than enough stress to lay low 80% of the population. You are a "Wonder Woman", but still you need to take care of yourself first with the help of your marvelous husband Bauke. Don't make him worry about you and your health. When you were in a coma he kept us informed on your progress though it was a very hard thing for him to do because he loves you so much and his pain over your condition was plain for all to see. Take time for yourself and him,( and your beautiful boys) and take care of YOURSELF for them. We love and admire your courage but take time to grieve properly for your dear Uniek. Because of your videos we will be able to watch our favorite Queen anytime, day or night, and we will, because she remains in our hearts forever. I am so sorry for your loss. Yvonne. I had a terrace accident 10 years ago. I made sure to listen to my body and rest. A lot.. I am so much better these days, but it took determination to be obedient to rest. When pain starts I have to stop or suffer. I’m not very technical,so I can’t give you words of wisdom on that, I’m sorry. I hope someone out there has excellent advice for you. Saly is such a great mom to Blomke. Very attentive and protective. They both are so beautiful. Blomke is so adorable and has been so perfect. It was good to see all the horses at Stal G. But it’s ok if you don’t get as much as you’d like sent to us. do what works for you. We 😍 love you❣️❣️❣️ I’m just glad to see your dad-#

When my back hurts, i out on my back brace that has a pack of blue frozen ice in it. It Velcro’s on around my waist and hits the right spot, and it works really well to dull the pain and allows me to continue working. Does this sound like an idea for you?

There is nothing like watching the newborns running around - never get tired of seeing them frolicking. Everyone has different personalities and energy and confidence towards humans.

Take the time for yourself. Pamper yourself. Listen to your body. Without you this channel wouldn't exist. I understand that you may feel pressured to provide content but that has to come after taking care of yourself and your family.

Yvonne, when all the Stall G herd was sold to the Canadian buyers, many viewers might have thought it was all over for your videos. That was a real loss for you as well as many of us viewers. The colts and mares we loved to watch and hear about just went with one "sweep" and they were gone. That was hard. I know that must have affected you terribly. That would have affected your KZread watches, as some may have felt it was too extreme to let them all go like that. At first, to be honest, I felt that. They went so quickly. Uniek has now passed which is unbelievable to have happened so suddenly and how she died, and Rising Star has wobbler, and his story is so sad too. You have had a lot to absorb with all these events happening so quickly. You are not complaining, I think your KZread friends who love you feel your hurt and pain and we do want to keep watching, and we do want to help. I will, and I live across the world from you in the United States. But I still love your videos, and your excellent care of your horses, and how you love them so much. Your husband and your boys are so fun to watch and so many things have happened at your home with the barn and building, etc., you have not had a chance to rest. Keep doing what you are doing but take it easy Yvonne. Don't stress about it. Mathilde is a plus for your videos as I have always enjoyed seeing her in them. She is a good friend for you, solid, and wise and caring. I was worried about Glendy now too, and she is just a small pony that you have shown us and we have followed. Belle is here now. We can follow her at Stall H. I still like seeing Sjors at Stall G. He is a pretty horse although I know he only boards there. I always forget to click on "like". I will remember and I hope all your viewers will too. If that will help, then that is what we will do. We are with you, Yvonne. I love watching your videos and always have. Mem Saly is very protective of Blomke, who in turn, is very outgoing and a bright spirit. Blomke is full of excitment ... everything is so new. I'm convinced Blomke is an old spirit who wants to enjoy this new existence to the fullest. Blomke has personality galore! A new favorite!

It's very challenging to put together lengthy videos every day. This is paying for the continuation of the Stal H. I feel so deeply for Yvonne. I just passed the 25th anniversary of an auto collision that gifted me with severe but undiagnosed brain injury, which also escalated the joint/nerve pain rooted in an also undiagnosed genetic condition under the fibromyalgia umbrella, a fun connective tissue disorder called hypermibile joint mobility syndrome, now referred to as hEDS. EDS stands for Ehlers - Danlos Syndrome. A very complicated suite of difficulties brought on by the body being unable to manufacture collagen, resulting in joint instability and severe pain. I also have another condition (recently recognized by me & diagnosed by my doctor) called Lipedema (close cousin to lymphedema - think: my 600 lb Life). So. I am speaking from 40 years of suffering aggravated by several autoimmune disorders aggravated by multiple auto collisions & consequent brain injury. Yvonne is in YEAR ONE of a very long road to recovery. I've learned so much, and compared to some of the long, lonely, isolation & pain ridden years that followed my worst auto collision,March 17, 1999, I am aware of how determined and amazing Yvonne's persistent activity and effort to recover truly are. AND, it's a very long road, and the demands upon her COGNITIVELY to do the videos and keep the horses well and fed and housed, is HUGE. Chronic pain from the soft tissue trauma of her fall & brain injury can start slowly and deliver quite a whomping later in, as it did me. I didn't know. I didn't stop. I kept working three contract editing jobs and planning a long distance wedding three months after the collision. I didn't know about the brain injury for 10 YEARS! But my body sure told ME to slow down! Which I did when I couldn't keep going, about two years after the collision & wedding (July 4, almost here!!!). I'm sharing in detail because if people hadn't talked about these actually rather common chronic conditions and especially about the fallout from brain injury POST TRAUMA INJURY RESPONSES, I would never have learned what I needed to SURVIVE. It has not been easy. I still struggle, but I have forged a decent life for myself. Yvonne will figure it out. It is her journey. What SHE has accomplished - gathering the HERD & finding a challenging if rewarding path by having this beautiful channel to share the MAGIC of the Herd, is just a beautiful privilege for us all. Prayers for Yvonne, her family, the farm & all the critters, and MOST ESPECIALLY the babies being born to give us hope!!! I'm so grateful for it all. It reminds me of miraculous things and I am so glad to be a witness and able to contribute in some small way. Blessings, Herd!!! ❤❤❤🎉❤❤❤

It’s so enjoyable to see the foals grow. At the time of this video Blomke was only 5 days old, and to see her go from shaky legs to racing around the arena. Amazing!

It is such a delight to see all of the horses, particularly Queen Uniek and frisky Blomke. Thank you Yvonne to allowing us into your life.

You are not complaining but explaining and that's okay. Please take of yourself Yvonne. We know it's hard, physical work taking care of these horses and ponies. Uniek looked so cute begging Teije to give her a treat then later suprised at your going outside with them. Loved Shiney copying Puck with heaf shake. Blomke is a girl born in a hurry. Five days early, didn't wait for anyone to come see her birth, and now racing around with those long legs. What a charming beauty. I am still totally confused about Stals G and H. Is H just turning into a pony farm? Also, I keep thinking about our now Canadian horses. There's no way they are being loved and cared for like they were here. Regrettably, in my opinion, those horses are just valued now as dollar signs. They may be cared for okay, but I'm sure they miss the love and attention they had been used to. Here those horses were so much more than just a herd of well-bred and expensive animals. And... I would love to be proven wrong! 😢

Blue eyed Blomke, no wonder she’s stolen your heart Yvonne! I got a kick out of Uniek eating and then Yvonne walking up with the wheelbarrow. Uniek was like, “ hey thanks”!

Such a cute little firecracker that Blomke! That low whinny as she was charging at you was hilarious!

Yvonne, you are doing a great job covering 2 Stals. We understand that it is so much work, and you can only do so much. It is important that you take care of yourself and continue to heal after your accident. It was strange to see Stal G without all of the mares, but the young horses develop so rapidly. The human workload is tremendous!

I spent most of my life as a chaplain, spending a lot of time with grieving people. Grief takes a toll on us physically, mentally and spiritually. We all grieve for Uniek, no one more than her best friend, Yvonne. Please, Yvonne, take care of yourself. In the US grief counselors are available. Is such a person near you? There are no quick fixes for grief, but it might be something to give a try. Prayers are with you.

Thank you for your ministry. Your listening and guidance brings comfort during some of our hardest days. Yvonne, thru local schools, churches, civic organizations, and your rehab hospital social services you'll be able to access counselors. Take time for yourself.

We share in your joys and sorrows and appreciate all you share. I don’t know how you pack so much in a day but please give yourself a break every now and then. I know how much fun video editing can be … although incredibly time consuming … but if you enjoy it - do it. When there isn’t a daily video I also check the community board for a photo but I understand when there isn’t a new post there. As a member of this herd I not going anywhere. Please do what’s best for you.

Shorts are a great idea. You could do those for 4 or 5 posts and then do a longer one maybe once a week. You can keep us up on important happenings through shorts and then explain them, if necessary, in your weekly long post. I love shorts anyway!

As a person who has chronic pain issues, I encourage you to try to make time for short breaks in your day. It’s hard for a person with a young family and many animal “kids.” And a KZread channel. But you don’t want to have a crash that could happen from pushing yourself too far. Even a 20-minute break is helpful. That’s my experience. Meanwhile, you have quite a zoomy foal there! Blomke is so cute and yes, those blue eyes are quite special. Saly is a perfect mom, for sure. Thanks for featuring Sjors! He has many fans, including me. I’ve always enjoyed seeing him. ❤❤❤
