A bit of a repost of footage from the Dean Forest Railway , and some really old footage of a much younger me driving my old 5 1/4 inch LBSC Speedy.

It was a lovely runner, however I am a really bad driver, just could not get the balance of steam, heat and water level right, back then we didn't film much so that is the only footage I have of it steaming.
Hi Matt the 3.1/2 g loco was a beauty- they are a lot of work though.

Oh yes, but I sent many wonderful hours running it. I didn't build this one, but I have the chassis to my grandfathers 7 1/4 in the shed so maybe one day I can credit a build.

@@dustyshelfcollectables I meant a lot of work to run them. I don’t have the technical skills to build one anyway. I belong to a model steam society but rarely go for lack of time.
