I'm really glad you posted this video. There hasn't been much said about the OCR issues reading the metrics in the connector, so I thought I was the only one still having problems. Ever since that major update a couple of months ago, using the MLM2 with GSPro has been unplayable. Hopefully things continue to get sorted out, but it makes me want to get a launch monitor with built-in GSP connectivity out of the box.

Thanks mate yes unfortunately this is one of the downsides of having a LM that isn’t supported. It happened at the worst time as well just when Springbok went on Christmas holidays lol 😂

Waiting for the day when there is an actual supported Rapsodo and GS Pro connect. One can only hope!

Hey mate I wouldn't hold my breath... Just like Garmin not coming out with an official connector 😭. I really don't think it will happen unfortunately. You would think though that they would help out Springbok to make a clean data screen so he can get his working perfectly.. then they get a connector through the community that will drive up sales. 🤞🤞

So Springbok has a video on his channel showing this. I did set it up once and it was quite in depth I will admit. I will have to look at tackling it again I think!

Do you know if they can fix the shot Tracer out on the Range looks kind of thick like a marker something like the Garmin r10 would be nice

Thanks a lot for the video. I have a question. If you are using the connector and iPad…do you still need the same GSPro computer requirements to run GSPro? From my understanding, you are running the rapsado off of the iPad, correct?

The computer requirements are still applicable. All the iPad does is give GSPro the shot data from the Rapsodo app. There is no way around needing a quality computer to run GSPro.

Yes the requirements for GS Pro are still the exact same you are just using your device as a bridge to import the Rapsodo data into the GS Pro software. GS Pro is still being run by the computer so you will need to check the requirements on the GS Pro website for the specs required.

Great stuff Joe. I noticed you mention a connect with the iPad. Am I safe to assume that you still need to run GS Pro off of a gaming PC as well?

Yes you still need the PC. Rapsodo app on iPad just gives GSPro the ball data.

Note: if you want to check the alignment while in the game, you can use the new pause button on the connector. Then unpause when you're ready to go again

Joe How is your simulator set up. A quick mapplease. Are you running from Rapsoda to your ipad to your projector.or do you have it tied into a gaming pc as well to run GS PRO. Graphics look great.

Hey mate yes so iPad hooked up to MLM2PRO using the Rapsodo range that screen airplayed to a gaming laptop to send the data to it. Gaming laptop is running GS Pro and also hooked up to my projector via a 10m HDMI cable.

I’m considering purchasing the MLM2Pro and I have a specific question that I haven’t been able to find an answer to yet. I’m wondering if the MLM2Pro is capable of accurately capturing shots with foam golf balls or similar. Since there’s a lot of content out there for other simulators but not specifically for the MLM2Pro, I think it could be a great idea for a KZread video. Testing the MLM2Pro with foam balls could provide valuable information for those of us looking to practice indoors without the risk of breaking anything. Would you be willing to test this out and share your findings? It seems like it could be a unique and helpful piece of content for your viewers.

Yes you can! I do this all the time lol get the low battery warning and then just plug it into an external battery pack.

great software from springbok, its never going to be perfect using OCR, i cant understand why rapsodo wouldnt do a native integration the unit would sell like mad if they did

Yes I completely agree... I've said this to them countless times. It's the same as Garmin when they brought the R10 out.. I think it might have something to do with the 5 free e6 courses. Potentially e6 give them that for exclusive rights or something? I'm not sure just guessing.
