I repped him up so unbelievably fast when I actually started playing him he’s rep 72 now and sometimes he just can’t compete with other heroes especially VG since he just doesn’t have much that can do much against her

Playing Lawbringer in 2024 is just asking the opponent team to use you as their punching bag.

Honestly Lawbro is probably in the worst state hes ever been in at the moment. I understand his rework a year ago was an abomination but it had some decent ideas in it too. He needs his ripostes back because the "parry specialist" doesn't really get shit off parrys. I think a double light chain and hyper armour finshers wouldnt go amiss either.

Armored finishers were in the first tg. They were too strong. Community complained about the multiple light chain and animations so they removed them from the tg. Tg had a higher damage riposte but the community complained. He had a feintable bash mix but the community complained about that. He was doomed from the start

He has nothing at all I used to have so much fun with him but they just kept changing him and changing him. He’s been power crept by all the new stuff in the game. For instance they had to give loads of people doge attacks because they didn’t know what else to do and lawbringer has just been left in the dust. LB has a barge he can’t faint, a flip he can’t land, predictable mixups, no blinding affect anymore and honestly awful damage compared to new characters. He’s no longer any fun and I see LB players huts heavy fainting into a single light quite a lot of the time. He isn’t viable at all. EDIT: Just remembered he has barely any hyper armour, how can the most armed character in the game have no hyper armour ?? Berserker with cloth has a tonne !

I was just playing LB this past weekend and got banned for cheating just for winning games with him. He’s so weak people genuinely think you have to cheat just to be decent with him

Just bring back the riposte carry, lower the distance and maybe add a unique animation when it wall splats like war monger

Unless that unique animation is lower damage than the old one, really can’t come back. It’s already strong if it only guarantees a light.

All they needed to do to make lawbringer good without ruining him was to just give him hyper armor on something and that was it really and maybe some different options like after wasting over 30 reps on him just to not even like him anymore is sadge af rip Lb now

2:11 NGL if my teammate actually did what that Orochi did I would've married him on the spot, I know it didn't work but it's the thought that counts. If those two were randoms then that's some synergy

Hey man I played LB with you not long ago and I did pretty well considering the heroes we played but he’s just not good compared to other heroes you just have to be extremely good at parrying and reading people and making good guesses

LB wemt from being my favorite character to one i hardly touch anymore. Id rather have LB when he had the slowest bash in the game than what he is now. Almost everytime the devs touch a character i play they mess with the characters identiity and no longer are fun to play

they gotta buff him but more importantly they gotta nerf VG bro she’s so stupid. like i can outplay her but she still wins bcz she has too much HP, does too much damage, and is way too fast. nerf that stam and her light attack speed. not by much but definitely needs to be slower. then tweak her damage shouldn’t be as much as it is.

I wish law still could parry dodge attacks off a missed shove and also parry off a zone into another characters full block stance. It made ganks against kiyoshins, conqs and others that were similar to them not as annoying as they are now

@shalashaskaseven4841 id only say it wasn't too strong cuz it relied on what ur opponent was gonna throw out and also I never saw too many if any at all lawbringers (even high or max rep ones) use it. It would help counter people who jus sit in their full guard. But I over time I can see more people doing it.

Dang, Ad Exodus' Orthodox Cross Emblem is way better than mine. I got mine looking too dang blocky.

I think for lawbringer rework, if in a chain his second attack is a heavy. It will have hyper armor, this includes a light into his orange heavy chain. It be good for teamfights and give a better reason to parry or bash. For his riposte attack? I think it should have shorter range, and an option to unbalance the enemy. Also give him a slightly faster bash, or make his bash effect in a small front cone. Any suggestions or nitpick? Edit: also no hyper armor on orange finisher heavy so he's not boring, only if his second heavy is orange it should get hyper armor so it's somewhat reasonable.

The chain heavy already has armor. A parry shouldn’t knock someone over. I’m with with a slight damage increase but jeez. His bash from neutral is standard 433 neutral. His bash in chain is 500ms, but has a unreactable 400ms top light as part of the mix.

What he honestly needs is a roll catcher, and neutral armor on opener heavy. Let him push frame frame advantage and neutral a bit better as his chain mix is strong still.

You shouldn’t be able to punish someone making a correct read on bash. It’s why they removed dodge cancels on whiffed kick on orochi.

i feel like you need to be consistently reacting when you play this hero and it’s so draining his kit just can’t keep up
