Same. GTA 5 is so disappointing when it comes to multiplayer. Got banned on 2 different accounts for giving people money and now I’m on a third, still with a paid menu but I still choose not to play.

@@AlDEN1999 I couldn't imagine doing the CEO crates without the MK2. But people did it before it was released. I hope the same. I prefer a more realistic experience. Crates are the only thing I use it for.

The story and characters in this game are imo the peak of the franchise, let's hope GTA VI tops it, dont trust Rockstar that much anymore but one can hope lol

I remember when I first played 4, the ragdoll physics were godly, I spent so much time jumping out of cars, running across the highway, jumping off buildings. What a well made title.

The thing about GTA IV multiplayer was that there actually wasn't that much to do, which I think is why it was so good, because you and all your mates would just make up stuff to do. Car meets, drag racing, drifting, doing duels with knives, all the glitches like the swingset glitch and the "inside the airport" glitch where you'd just go on massive rampages but couldn't get killed, helicopter fights where 2 of you would be in 1 helicopter, 2 in the other, and you'd try and RPG each other, looking for easter eggs, racing from the airport to the Sultan RS spawn etc... I'll never forget the nights with the boys just shooting the shit on games like GTA IV, Halo 3 and CoD!

You explained it perfectly. The simplicity of the game sparked the need of creativity in the players. Pretty much explains how Minecraft ended up the most sold game of all time. Can't count how many hours I poured into playing Halo 3 customs/forge.

One of the most underrated games in the history of gaming... I still play it often although I have GTA 5, the driving and physics are really satisfying.

@@weltvonoben It's starting to get a little popular, but still not popular as 5 and SA... GTA SA was 2004, but it's still very popular today, and 5 is... just overrated

For a 2008 game, they did a great job for the car damage in this game, no matter how much you crash your car in this game, the detail in the car that is damaged is just realistic. 10/10 game.

They really love to ruin everything great they make.. it was so much more immersive to respawn there.

Even if GTA V Online has many features and activities, they do not compare to the atmosphere and fun you can have playing GTA IV Online, it was designed to play and enjoy, not to grind and operate business for money.

i remember on 4 we would get into a lobby with a modder spawning invincible/unbreakable cars and we would all just drag race the airport. the cars were all rainbow neon flashing too was so sick

Many many fond memories with GTA IV online. Used to love getting the lads together to do the co op missions, Deal Breaker, Hangman's Noose and Bomb Da Base. We also used to get a helicopter and fly up to the penthouse from one of the storyline missions. Ah the nostalgia...

brooooo I was legit 9 when the trailer for gta5 came out, dude was one of my first youtubers I watched next to thegaminglemon

I just downloaded it again on Steam after about a decade and it is still hands down the superior game in terms of technicality and realism

Back in the day I found GTA 4 online much more fun than I found GTA 5 online when it came out. Everything was just pure fun.

Man this brings back so many memories when I was in high school. I remember I spent hours and hours taking a helicopter, land on the tallest building and then use the trick the get the faster motorbike and jump off just to enjoy the insane physics of Niko falling to his death or just jumping off the helicopter or crashing while riding the motorbike. I was blown away by the graphics back in the day.

GTA 4 is still good I never understood why people stopped playing it so much.

This game has brought me so much joy and it was such a life changer for me when I was a kid but one memory I had was always going to the airport and just racing people stuff like that also that noise like that blip sound brings back so many memories

i remember being like 10-12 playing gta 4 in my xbox 360 and trying the online mode. i didnt had gold or something but somehow i managed to enter and i enjoyed it a lot. even tho i didnt understand nothing of what happened lol

I went on gta 4 earlier today and it was like 17 people in a lobby just going to war. I was mind blown at the fact that people still play it. It was so fun tho

My favorite memory in gta4 was when I was climbing the statue of liberty and I heard a strange noise. I test all the doors and I find the available door to enter, only to climb up the ladder and find libertys heart beating.

Ik u probs dont want me to comment this here but. if you set all preferences in ur phone to "Dont care" you should be able to find servers easier bc if you have preferences set you will only be put into lobbys with players with those Preferences picking (Custom or Quick match) can also make a difference

Use the headlights! It's actually a useful gameplay feature in this game, looks gorgeous AND is a nice incentive to keep from crashing.

Ill never forget the first time I played this game and it was a treat. The intro was enough, even today, to put hair on end with the way it introduced the darkness this game would possess through the whole story. Play it frequently on my PS3 and easily my favorite. Just wish it was 1080p

Its so much more awesome that SAMP (San Andreas Multiplayer) is still online in 2022! nearly 20 years since GTA San Andreas came out :DDD

I still play this on the new xbox as well. The community is so small now that there are a lot of frequent players. I recognize thagamer01 & CyH48175 since I’m always joining there lobbies lol

I’ve recently found an old Xbox 360 and it has gta 4 downloaded onto it. I’ve completed it and it’s without a doubt the best one I’ve played.

Gta 4 was probably the first gta i had actually played and completed man this game is legendary and had a great story.

I love the way the game runs so smoothly on XBOX.

I remember playing Cops and Robbers everyday when this game was active, that game mode alone always had me coming back for more, And I was also that guy that would block the races with a bus in the time square race map lol

Man, GTA IV is one of my all time favorite games! Not only that I love the dark gritty tone of the game but I enjoy the story and the characters way more than GTAV. For some reason there isn't a single likeable character in V in my opinion. Only Trevor is kinda interesting (not likeable, though). My top 2 favorite video game characters: 1. John Marston 2. Niko Bellic.

I still regularly find people on the ps3 servers as well. Not a lot, but every once and awhile I'll find full servers and it's always fun.

The gaming lemon videos are my favorite memories from this game

I was able to fit 4 cars in that parking space outside of Nikos first apartment, You can park slightly up on the curb and as long as you are bumper to bumper you can get two basically against the metro support beams, and two next to them in the street.

Anyone else remember that zombie outfit with the yellow underwear? Those were the days. Or that heli glitch where you could fly under the world.

A GTA game made before the social media boom. Think about that.

I thought i was crazy when i would play gta 4 and think the graphics are better than 5's but finally someone agrees, dont get why people say gta 4 has terrible graphics, it looks just as good as it did in 2008, the series x just makes it feel so much better aswell

Bomb da base and especially Cops and Crooks were some of the most fun I had gaming as a teenager. Some of the crazy things that happened and the tense standoffs and escapes were fantastic.

What I can remember i was playing PS3 having fun with other people by making new friends, and dodgefighting, and glitching through the floors which give many good time until my ps3 were old and never seen my friends again that I made.

Gta 4 had always such a awesome vibe

I also used to love the driving on GTA 4. When I went back and replayed it, it felt clunky because I was so used to 5.. But back when I transitioned to 5, I remember thinking how much I hated the unrealistic driving. I miss actually having to brake and turn, and cutting through alleys and running from people or chasing them felt so much more exciting. I got a series X on the way this week I might have to pick up gta 4 again for fun

I remember playing with my friend at the time trying to find parkour spots around and message people to come after us also the moders made it do funny

I still play multiplayer. I got a new PS3 just so I could play it cause my old one broke. It’s so much fun. So many modders though. Yesterday I drove a statue and the DeLorean from B2tF, I got launched up to the sky barrier on a bike, I got arrested by a character spawning in black police cars, I got teleported, I got killed by invincible people, I got blown up by a Sultan RS shooting missiles, and I got booted off GTA IV multiplayer by a modder. Just another day in GTA IV.

Gears of war 2 and gta iv online were my first two online games lol good times

Spot on. That's what I loved about IV online, a sense of freedom where it seems anything is possible. V online I felt I couldn't rest.. IV was just perfect.
