    I think it was the rocket firing sound effect played many times in a short period to catch up with what looked like a small lag spike at that moment. It can't have been the satellite since that orbits the equator and he was flying over the north pole.

    The quantum tower on brittle hollow is consistently the most confusing thing to most people in these supercuts and I definitely took a bit to understand it but 1:47:01 was the most frustrating thing I've seen. Great edit eelis, 10/10

    Happened to me too. Fell through the black hole with the tower and everything, but somehow missed the fact that it all came through with me. I did eventually figure it out, but it's an easy blind spot to have.

    @@AzariahWolf I think it's mostly due to the safety feature that stops you from materializing inside the body of the chunk you fell in with. It means that the tower is usually behind you when you fall through: out of sight, out of mind.

    1:16:36 "It seems if you get too close to it then you just get pulled right in." Correct, this is due to the fact that the acceleration due to gravity from the sun is inversely proportional to the square of the distance to the sun, plus the fact that your ship has a fixed maximum acceleration. The force from the gravity of the sun gets higher than what your thrusters can counter once you are close enough.

  • @TlalocTemporal

    @TlalocTemporal

    9 ай бұрын

    Fun fact, while the sun's gravity (and gravity in real life) obeys the inverse square law, most other planets in Outer Wilds use a linear inverse law (1/r² vs 1/r).
