We recently had a litter of Staffordshire bull terriers. All have been weaned and sold, to lovely doggy homes. Except one. A boy dog. A funny little puppy that wasn’t the biggest, the fiercest or the most cuddly, he was just the standout best all-round bloody dog. Good at everything and he did it all with a smile on his face. He is called Bobby. A reminder to our family of a player we have adored for so many years. Go well Mr Firmino.

Once a time Sir Alex told that if you want to win a tournament you have to have a good defense and Liverpool won many tournaments during 2018-2022 because of solid defender with Van Dijk and Matip. To win every game you have to have a very sharp attacking team and Liverpool has Mane, Salah and Firmino. In conclusion, Firmino will always be remembered as a legendary who completed the attacker team at that time.

Bobby leaving really hits us so hard , great soldier of the club , but then again he deserves to play in the first team , and it's impossible to be first choice right now in Liverpool so he should move for his own career. I just hope he won't end up washed up and wasted like most of the players when they leave Liverpool , Torres , Coutinho , Origi , even Mane is struggling. Liverpool fans will always remember the "deadly front three".

Bobby i will miss his beaming white smile and his silly celebrations but on the pitch he was a magician that pulled the strings. I watched a video of Bobby here on you tube showing his assists where simply breath taking if that was Ronaldo or Messi every media out lets would purrrrring about the assists with all the tricks normally associated with Brazilian players. When Klopp was at Dortmund he wanted to sign Bobby and how ironic when Bobby signed in the summer transfer window of 2015 then on the 15/10/15 we sign Klopp as our new manager and the rest is history as they say. I truly hope he gets the freedom of Liverpool and also make him and ambassador for Liverpool fc and there are no better role models than Bobby. Bobby without a shadow of a doubt is a true Liverpool legend and a true icon for my beloved Liverpool fc that i have supported for 52 years now and still counting. Bobby was heartbroken when his pal Coutinho left (and I don't blame Coutinho for wanting to play with Messi and Iniesta). I said at the time that when he got over it, he would come out of Coutinho's shadow and be better than his mate. I hate to say I told you so but I told you so. He was always a better all round player than Coutinho but Coutinho kept coming up with game changing moments that lit up the fans. It was only 2 or 3 years later that Firmino was worth £100 million and Coutinho was worth much less.

Firminho is like Steph Curry. He almost invented his position and made it his own. He is also selfless and makes everyone's job easier.

Cody Gakpo will be the one to take on the challenge of replacing Firmino in the Liverpool starting lineup. A fantastic player to have to replace but I think CG will be fine.
