there is no midi export?

would be nice to have midi export and finding sounds is very difficult…would be good to have tagged content or searching for similar sounds.

It‘s in the manual, also some videos explain that. The workflow depends on your DAW and the drum machine.

Great vid man. If I have a snare pattern I like but would like to try different snare sounds, how would I do that?

Open the preset tab, and you'll see the sound of each track on the right. Drag and drop snare sounds from any preset on your snare track to replace only that. There's also a random button to reroll only that snare sound

Question is the pitch information in the midi export?

I don't use FL so I don't really know it, but you can't drag and drop the audio loops from the export window?

I found the midi and multi track features to be extremely weak. Also no scale support in pitch generation.

It doesn't generate midi output to control other instruments?

Yes, either as audio or as midi (though, midi loses some information, like the pitch modulations for example), but I préfère to route each sound to a separate track, so I can mix them independently while keeping the flexibility of the plugin.

export midi doesn't work - only audio

With ableton you can convert audio to midi really easily

Just a matter of dragging an audio sample into a midi track and it will extract the midi

do 1 track at a time. still a pain though. also 2 octaves too high for my sampler

Unfortunately Playbeat 3 does not work with reaper
