Yes it gets boring that is the beauty of improvising.
The way he nods his head as he plays the regular version 🤣.. makes me feel worse while I'm having trouble playing the regular version 🤦♂
Your lesson is great. Thank you. But why call traditional Christmas songs 'holiday songs'? We can definitely feel the holiday atmosphere in songs like Feliz Navidad, Santa Clause is Coming to Town, Rudolf the red-nosed Reindeer, I'll Be Home for Christmas, even Blue Christmas and White Christmas, All I Want for Christmas and many more. Great holiday songs for sure. But songs that directly relate to Christmas like Silent Night, O Come All Ye Faithful, The First Nowell, O Holy Night, Away in a Manger etc., in my opinion, fit the definition of Christmas Songs. There is more to Christmas for Christians, than only 'happy holidays'.

Why don't you post a list of your favorite Jewish songs and Kwanzaa? I'm sure that we could assemble a team that is responsive in a spirit that rises to that of your heartfelt suggestion. My personal favorite is Donald Got Run Over By a Reindeer.
Lovely arrangement of a Christmas carol (used to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, not a holiday song). I know you are obliviously worried about offending anyone so just offend the Christians instead. Fabulous music though, love it.
