John Proulx is quickly becoming my favorite instructor on this channel
That was a gorgeous arrangement… Is it OK for a grown man to cry? OK, I’m crying now :-)!
As good as it gets. BRAVO!
Breathtakingly beautiful.
Such a gentle unassuming presentation of a breathtaking arrangement…..Judging by the comments I was not the only one who was touched by this beautiful tutorial. Thank you😊
You are the best all around piano player. Love listening to your jazz, John.💯

Thank you so much!
This one is a masterclass…….. will be revisited over and over
It's so much fun playing slower pieces, it gives you more room for improvisation.
Great teacher; great performance. Best wishes Rudi
HI Jonny! I love this piece and class by John Proux!! How about an entire class, step by step all the way through this piece? Please bring John in for this project!! I really want to learn it all.
That’s my favorite song. I had it played at my wedding
Owsome arrangements and improvisation sir. I love this
Wow, simply gorgeous!
Beautiful!! Please make an entire lesson on this like your Misty lesson.
bravo sir amazing arrangement and clear breakdown keep em coming please!
John, thanks for sharing that beautiful arrangement of the timeless piece. The piano sounds are gorgeous as well. What is your piano setup ?
Very beautiful, Jonny. Amazing.❤❤
Absolutely gorgeous! Please, please, please make an extended PWJ tutorial including the full transcription of the arrangement for this beautiful piece! Merry Christmas!
Wow. You hit the jackpot on this quick tip. A beautiful song, with detailed comments on chord substitutions, fillers, suggested recordings, even a little history of this beautiful song. Thanks for taking the time to put it all together.
One of my favorites! I really like when you do these videos of showing your thinking process in putting an arrangement together.
I totally have Gershwin vibes from this music. Love it!
Great feeling ❤
Awesome rendition !
it's magical. thanks for this.🙏
I love singing ballads like this. If only my jazz piano was even close!
Because it's a slow paced ballade it gives you more time to actually think about what you're doing while playing and even plan ahead. I really like your thought process and the way you break it down. Quite naturally you add the interesting chord progressions while there are long notes or pauses in the singing, not to overshadow the singer. Great job overall.
Absolutely heart warming!! Love it!!
Great passing motives on the inside alto/tenor voicing.
Beautifully done. Thank you.
Really beautiful ❤😢
Simply superb! I was born in Japan because of the Korean War and never knew of the referenced connection. I will certainly follow the quick tips to make this tune a part of my repertoire.
Excellent presentation. I am asking a lot of your time but could you now demonstrate with this same piece how you would play all except the intro, solo and ending it if you were accompanying a singer.
Beautifully played! 👍
Very nice 👏
That is beautiful! Thanks John. I wish we could share brains :)
Wow!
Thanks Jon 👍👍
Gorgeous arrangement and performance of a tune I grew up hearing by Nat King Cole. It would be great if John P would expand this to a full course at PWJ, as he did with Misty.
I wish he would have had this tune written out in the chart
Can you show us _Unforgettable_ as done by Nat & Natalie Cole?
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏😀
