Been trying to find that Velocity Systems 3 cell 7.62 placard with the GP pouches for ages. They don't have multicam on the site anymore. Great stuff and love coming back to these older videos.

You make a diagonal cut on standard buckles to route molle/webbing/straps through if you don’t want to buy repair buckles or Qasms. Can also do this to remove buckles from webbing.

i ran in to the same problem with the 5.11 tactec P.C. When i wanted to run a traditional molle cummerbund .I went to walmart and bought some 2in adhesive backed velcro.I cut 2 pieces of the loop side to lengh and put the adhesive sides together so i had front and back loop..Just cover the hole with. It and your good.

I wonder if Crye's flap system is patented like their qd straps. Now that the pocket placards with inserts are a thing, changing the inserts instead of the placard makes much more sense. Gets rid of the straps and buckles

I still use placards because I want it all the way gone sometimes. Multi-caliber is a lesser factor for me.

Any alterations shop can replace velcro for you

AXLE system is another for to attach placards on the front for this carriers that don't come with hook and loop front or hooks...

another question for the jpc 2.0.. is it possible to just convert the AVS front detachable molle flap into a placard by simply inserting the male clips into the top tabs of the flap? (not sure what the purpose of those tabs are and they don't appear to line quite up with the tabs on the carrier, so may be a little "janky")... OR would I need to still get the "front placard conversion flap? It just seems like a shit load of flaps to get what I want on the front of the carrier.. Not sure why crye doesn't make a simple front molle placard flap...

They do make a plain molle panel. I don’t see why your idea couldn’t work though.

I just recently ordered a Crye SPC Airlite, I'm new to plate carries so I appreciate your videos, very informative. I've been trying to decide on the best placard for it. It comes with the quick attach clips out of the box, is it safe to get a quick attach placard that fits right to those hooks? or is that going to ride too high? I saw you mentioned in another video that the AXL adapter for Crye can help with the positioning issue.

I’d just start with the Crye stretch panel. You may not even need a placard.

attachment systems, vests, modulars, organic or artificial, small or large , avaiability in getgo,reach or particular sets. flexible, bulky or dull suited sizes.

I have done it when I forgot to switch, it is not ideal but works. They is a surprising amount of slop in the retention.

This is great stuff man, do you think the Velocity systems 4mag 55.6 placard could fit on a Large Spiritus Lv119?

How large are the GP pouches on the Velocity Quad 5.56 placard? Wondering if I should get a quad 5.56 Esstac Daedon panel and attach my own pouches or get the Velocity Quad GP. Can the Velocity quad pouches hold an ifak or smoke grenades?

Nah, they are more like GPS, map & compass, or very small bleeder kit sized.

What size is your JPC? I am looking at getting the velocity systems quad m4 placard for a medium JPC 2.0 and wasnt sure if it would be too wide for the plate carrier

@@Cielinky Which dimensions? Anything dealing with the plate bag is going to be the plate bag plus a very few millimeters.

Yes. The size that matches your plates. If you don’t own plates, figure out sizing based on them not the carrier.

I got a medium slickster because it's sized for 10x12 plates which are the industry standard.
