I actually appreciate whoever chose the music lol. I love my slickster with a simple: triple mag pouch, dangler, kangaroo pouch, and IFAK in the side bands at the ready. Best PC for shtf and quick grab and go for training

Had a Slickster as my grab & go for a while now. Always kept it minimal. Recently picked up a TEAR 3mag front flap which I'll keep in my bag, with the option of slapping it on the carrier if things get spicy.

RIght on! That's a clean set up.

miss when plate carriers came complete and you didnt have to buy the plate bags, the cummerbund, the side plate pockets, the shoulder pads, the molle front flap and so on seperately

You can get them complete. The slickster is designed to be... slick. And modular.

They literally sell a separate version with the cummerbund for like $25 extra. You're gonna replace everything on it eventually to fit your needs for it so not sure what the problem is

I wanted to have mounting for mags for the sides only and have minimal in the front. 4:23 I wanted something more long distance where the front is clear but the pack can have a zip on or tie a bed roll. or a tight tarp/poncho.

That’s what I got mine for armed security I like the fact you can run this under jacket or shirt and be able to load it out for range

The Slickster was never intended to carry anything on the rear. I suggest going with the FCPC if that is your goal.

Whiskey Two Four had a hydration carrier that will slip over the rear plate bag. You'll have to separate the bags to install

can the 6x6 side plate adapter stretch enough to fit a army issue esbi??

Just ordered a slickster MOLLE base, triple 556 turnover, carry elastic cummerbund, and a dangler. Also ordered a a couple MIRA plates. I feel like I'm stealing from both companies.

Slicksters are kind useless for civilians in my opinion. Unless your doing close protection or work in vehicles all day then yeah. Otherwise I recommend the overt for people.

Or is the Slickster the perfect carrier because it can scale up to a full overt carrier without issue..and it's affordable to boot.

It's perfect for civilians, I think. Throw it on real quick when someone is taking a pry bar to your kitchen window. Quick and simple when defending your property in your underwear. Only question is, is it comfy on the nips? @Hernandez1775 @Ferro Concepts
