There was some article in Yahoo, a few weeks ago, about benzoyl peroxide being a carcinogen. I haven’t seen it anywhere else so I don’t know how accurate that is. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Also, if collagen will not penetrate the skin, why is it in a lot of skin care? Since collagen is a large protein it shouldn’t be able to be absorbed, pure or mixed within something. 🤔 Right?

Lard or beef tallow + heat cooks food. If you put that on your skin and go out in the hot sun, won't you cook your skin? I remember a time my mother and her cousin covered themselves in Crisco, laid out to tan, and had some serious regrets.

The tallow doesn’t cook your skin, it’s not the same as crisco either. Tallow is natural and can absorb into your skin, coconut oil, castor oil are all natural. Crisco, baby oil (mineral oil), sit on top of your skin and concentrate UV rays burning your skin. Not sure what oil is in the butt paste with the zinc oxide but you see here she uses it at night while sleeping. Using at night they are used to soften skin not for tanning so not the same.

Apple cider vinegar in a spray bottle helps with my armpits. My right side was giving me issues. I don't use traditional deodorant/antiperspirant. They itch, and I don't trust the ingredients. For years,I have sprays with salts, which worked. My right side started to get immune to it. Probably more bacterial and age. Results may vary.

The diaper rash on the face was the funniest clip. If people are following snails collecting the slim, I can't help but wonder how sterile the slime is. They must treat it some how. The only thing I use on my face is sun screen. From watching other clips of Dr. Youn, I keep thinking I should try retinol cream. I stopped using makeup on my face especially eye makeup since my left eye is hard to control and there was one time I accidently got mascara on my eye. I think I am lucky though because I am in my 70's and I do not have facial wrinkles.

The benzoyl peroxide works for pits and feet! I think I had a stress induced issue where my feet just stank out of nowhere. And it was horrible. I now wash my feet every day, first with benzoyl peroxide (10%) and then with selenium sulfide (dandruff shampoo). Since then, I've had no issues.

I spend lots of time in the sun working around the farm and in addition to long sleeves and hats/scarves I've been using high spf mineral sunscreen. I slather that stuff on thick. My grandmother, born in 1902, knew an awful lot about nearly everything. Old folk remedies. And she used them. I forgot about most of it. I had a huge wart just sitting on the web between my thumb and my forefinger. Sat there for years. When I suddenly remembered what she had taught me: find a snail in the garden and let it walk over your wart. I did. The next day the wart was gone and never came back.

I put diaper paste on my face. It costs $2.99 at Target for a large tube and it’s 40% zinc oxide which is stronger than any sunscreen. Because it’s thick and white you have to do it carefully. I put it on in the shower after I wash and dry my face then I spray my face with warm water and then blot with a towel. No more white but the zinc oxide is still all there and is a phenomenal sunscreen as well as a “sealer” for my moisturizer.

I still have few wrinkles, but I’ve noticed my eyes drooped, which I’m not happy about. My eyebrows are very thin and my eyelashes are very short due to going through surgical menopause when I was 34 (ALL your hair thins and falls out, except on your face, you start growing whiskers). Had it not been for that unfortunate event, I probably wouldn’t look so old around my eyes. They look like my mother’s and she’ll be 75 this year. I won’t fix it… It’s a battle scar, I’ll just deal with it.

If you also have Alpha-gal, you do not want to be using beef tallow or any other mammalian products on your face or body.

You dont want to remove odor from armpits. Especially if dating. Might seem gross to many, and by our standards, it is, but we produce a unique scent, all of us. This scent helps attract or dissuade potential mates. Those who are a match to your biological markers will find your natural scent plesant, whereas others find it gross and keep distance. This is helpful because it kind of thins thenherd in terms of appropriate matches. Its not just about looks that matter in reproduction, but genetic diversity and mixing. Perhaps those who find others scent attractive have a better body chemistry than those who find a persons scent to be bad. Scent markers can indicate personality types as certian types release different chemicals and amounts of those chemicals to indicate agressiveness, foods they eat, health, etc. While we may not conciousnessly recognize what individual chemical scents mean, we do know what smells good to us.

Ive used a beef tallow cream that was commercially produced. It does not make acne worse. I have fairly oily skin and it actually sunk in really easily and didnt make me greasy.

About "Beef tallow": Humans are not carnivores. We don't have the right type of teeth and claws to be carnivores. Cats and dogs are carnivores. Look at their teeth. They are not like human teeth.Cows and horses have blunt teeth like humans and cows and horses are plant eaters

I do have a real question. (I also wrote the other of the two youtube-surgeons i know of) I really feel bad writing a comment about what others look like in this manner. But I am so interested in social and cultural changes and behaviours. So, here I go: I just watched latest season of Netflix ”Too Hot To Handle” and (half way in) there are several persons just looking ”off”, there is no ”good looking” or ”not good looking”, its just ”off” and i feel like my brain cant compute the face or even the age of it. All i see is multiple surgeries and then I wonder if it is all of them together givning me so mixed aestethics, or what? Different surgeons on same face, does that make and difference? Then I think about all the really young people watching 😢 I just see things just looking FIXED and then I cant even tell if it is good or bad. Are we gonna look back and see whole generations altering their appearence? Will it change our brains or perception of faces? Does not everyone see what I see? Is it my age, are younger generations More used to fixed noses for example? This is for real a serious question, i am so into the psycology of it. I lived so many years with body- and face-dysmorphia, so no judgement or shaming, just honest curiosity. Just wanted to write all that to try to eliminate some possible missreadings. Is there any research done? When you stop looking like family and later, your own kids, does that affect us? Thanks! (English is not my first language, OBVUOUSLY, so bott me and my phone keep messing up the spelling. Hope you get the bigger picture despite that.
