Batman is the reason Plastic Man exists. And he was the one that stood up for him and helped him reform. Plastic Man is Batman's greatest trump cards. Just as much as Plastic Man is a goofball, he is loyal and extremely smart. By all accounts, he could kill Superman, but we know DC would never let some B Grade Hero (Plastic Man is B Grade) have that glory. I mean, heck if Martian Manhunter or Captain Marvel...I mean, Shazam aren't allowed to obligate Superman. He doesn't stand a chance. Even if on paper, the three names I named. They all have a chance at beating him. Just in vastly different ways.

Yep. Back in the early 2000s, Batman had two reasons for putting Plas on the JL. The first, Batman saw Plas rehabilitated from being a thief and wanted to give him a chance as a hero. Second, Plas' powers and body allows him to be a counter against EVERYONE in the League in some way. When Martian Manhunter went nuts and was possessed by Fernus, a Martian god, Batman said ''Throw Plastic Man at him'' and Plas was holding back A MARTIAN SPACE GOD OF FIRE by himself while the League came up with a way to stop Fernus. Plas is really damn strong when given the chance, but he's a goofball and doesn't like fighting as much, so he doesn't show off unless he REALLY needs to.

I love how in the DCAU, Whenever someone says "Probably" in a tense situation, they all freak out until its revealed the other person was "Just Kidding" 😂

I love that "He said you had the plan" Feels like a geocach, that instructs you to knock on the nearby houses door and ask for the next step

Not only did he let plastic man chill in the batcave for a business week, he let Harley sit on his face. Not all heroes wear capes, but Batman does.

Plastic man is definitely one of top five most powerful beings in DC. Luckily he's on the side of heroes, and doesn't take himself seriously, enjoying life one step at a time. Imagine O'brian when he's serious and without morals, no one... literally no one can stop him.

​@@Spiderman2910Lol no they can't. When Martian Manhunter went evil (Fernus), no one in the JL, not even Superman could stop him. Of course, Plastic Man was the only one able to fight Fernus. As for Flash, in the Injustice comics he was suffocated and knocked out by Plastic Man. So he may be a joke, but he is probably the strongest hero in the Justice League.

Yes, Batmans contingency plan for him in another comic was to keep him frozen. Even if he was shattered in that place there is a high likelyhood he would reassemble after thawing. He is in Batmans eyes possibly the most dangerous being alive.

Yes Plastic Man can do this. The only plan Batman could come up with to stop him was Freezing him Instantly with Liquid Nitrogen and keep him frozen until a better solution has been found :P

No (it's cooler), he can't control each piece, but they all become slightly dumber pieces of himself, and they all have an instinct to reform. In theory, you could cut him in half and there'd be two of him with less-wiser-cracks.

He didn't necessarily need to split fully, if the parts starting merging together past the grate before fully splitting behind the grate, he could maintain a single continuous blob.
