Good luck with the new season! Been following you for a while and it's nice to see all the growth :)
Great video! I’ve learned so much from you!! Thank you so much!!
We are in a rainy period where I am so waiting for things to dry up so we can get planting. Your plants look great!
Ive learned soooo much from you! One thing Ive learned as a new flower farmer is to start small. Not knowing where to start Ive definitely started too snall to be able to grow flowrrs for Farmers Markets. This year is definitely a year to learn from. Ive appreciated seeing how many flowers you do grow! Would you mind sharing how much you grow of green filler, sunflowers and zinnias? That would help me get a better idea of how much to plan to grow! Thank you SO much!!!

I usually order 1 plug tray of buplerum. Then have various small patches of other things like cress. I DS zinnias - usually 200-300. And DS 200-300 sunflowers every 2 weeks til mid July. Small amounts compared to other farmers but as I get more space created and I can just plant and not build in the spring, I can do more!

Yes!!! 🤦♀️
Its looking great! Its so satisfying getting all the seedlings in isnt it! I think i need to work on my snapdragon spacing i think i get abit loose on my 6inch spacing and theyre prob more like 8 looks like you fit alot in! Thanks for showing us your progress love watching it progress esp it being almost winter here for me now (feels like winter already!)
Is there a guide or a book that tells spacing guidelines for cut flowers?

I have the floret books and I am not sure if those tell spacing or not? I usually share in all my planting videos the spacing I plant at. If you take the Floret course or Gardener’s Workshop course, that is something that is taught
I’m sure you’ve told us in a video but I cannot find it now. What landscape fabric do you use?

Two weeks ago I planted my snapdragons, a little bit smaller than yours. Now they started to flower!! Is all lost?

Did you pinch them? Cut the blooms off and they will branch out
Do u get insect pressure in there like whitefly? Aphids? What do u do when u get that?
@SunshineFlora

Last year my honeywort had aphids so I ordered ladybugs and released them to eat the aphids. I also get the corn rootworm beetles that are terrible! I use organza bags on my dahlias to save them
where do you get you landscape fabric, what kind or brand name please

Do you fertilize the flowers if it has rained or do you hold off a day or two?

I usually stay on schedule unless it’s super wet
