Planting Corn, Okra & Peas with '69 Massey Ferguson 135 & 70's Covington Speedmaster Duplex Planters
Spring planting and fertilizing (Super Fox 13-13-13) a garden in the Florida panhandle. We planted a mix of Silver Queen and Silver King sweet corn, cowhorn okra, and pink eye purple hull peas using a 1969 Massey Ferguson 135 tractor and Covington Speed-Master Duplex Planters from the 1970's. Agricultural zone 8.

"For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations." -Isaiah 61:11 KJV

I love that setup ! I wish I had something like that better than my Earth Way push planter . I have planted acres with it over the years though . Thanks for sharing !

Sorry for the slow reply, but thank you! :)
Looks good, but i suggest you let the top link out to level the frame and take those large shovels off and replace them with sweeps like mine so you won't be in such a deep trench unless you put some small shovels on those siding feet so you can fill that trench and plant on top so the fertilizer don't knock your seed back 2 or 3 days or more. just some things we do here in South Ga. Thanks for the great video.

Maybe it's just the video but it looks like you are planting 6 inches in the ground. The opening disk shouldn't be no deeper than 2 inches in the ground.
