I know the camera can fool you but it looked to me like Mike was running about twice as fast as he should have been. With the old Covington and/or Cole planters, a casual walking speed is about what you need.

6:55 - the seed plate is not picking up. Don't know if you have your sprockets set to compensate, but that seed plate probably is planting real thin for corn. 7:00 - A lot of the times when the wheel won't spin it is because the seed plate is too tight. It should be locked down and loose.

I wouldn't take two new John Deer's for that old Ford!

Man that planter set up must be the most deluxe two row Covington cole you can get. Its 500$ just for the single hopper two row side dresser that goes on a two row cultivator. New. Are those galvanized hoppers for insecticide?
