Yes. it will definitely grow. plat need sun and water to grow. And if you are able to water them around that time, you yam will grow. Then when rain starts to falls regularly you will discontinue watering the yams

It takes between 8-12 Months before harvesting the yam. The sign that you'll see that proved that it's time to harvest is the the leaf of the yams will start drying off

Some research is saying 3months to harvest so tell us the exact time frame from planting to harvest
