Hello! Stevia is very nice. It trips me out how sweet it is! We're so used to getting sweet in the form of syrup or granules, how wild it is to eat a leaf and taste intense sweetness. And yet, that's how we get some of those granules and syrups. All the more reason to grow our own. I think I got my seeds from MIgardener. He might still have a 25% off sale going on right now. Good advice about being careful when consuming herbs. I'm a total hungry hippo when it comes to eating herbs! I should look into things more as I do have health issues. Thank you ❤️

I didn't think about that for a long time. That's one of the great things to come out of this challenge: learning about herbs for better or worse. I was eating Basil from my indoor Aerogarden every day all winter. I got to thinking maybe I should make sure this is okay. And it's not bad for me but still something to keep in mind and not overdo it. Also outside of this challenge I learned that Moringa is not very good for people who have an underactive thyroid. I was about to start growing it until I learned that. In fact, even Brassicas should be limited in one's diet if you have underactive thyroid. Something to talk to one's doctor about if that's what they're dealing with. Another is St. John's Wort, that can effect how your body metabolizes medication. But in the same vein, there are countless herbs that benefit us without all the side effects of OTC medications. So many herbs have anti-inflammatory properties, or detoxifying, can help with feminine issues, and so so much more. So I've learned it's not about being afraid of them, but to empower ourselves with knowledge on how to use what! Which means I really need to get some notecards and get to studying! 🤣 Thanks again for stopping by and watching these updates.

Thank you very much! I so love gardening and herbs are very rewarding to grow. Many of them are easy to grow and those that aren't provide a nice challenge which is of course an opportunity to learn. Right!? I think it's very pretty, but the bigger leaves are not as flavorful as the younger leaves. That said I would grow it again. I wonder how big it would get in ground? I guess I'll get to see in my raised beds. Thanks for visiting and chatting. I appreciate you.🙋‍♀️💜
