Just yesterday, I got a cape sundew from a nursery that clearly put more than one in the pot. I counted at least 8 plants in there, so I bought it for 5 euros. I just finished separating and potting them all today. There were 27 Cape Sundews in there! Many of them were really young and tiny. I'm keeping one but I don't know what to do with the other 26 plants 😅 any suggestions? Lol

Are the leaves active or passive with prey?

The tentacles will move prey in closer to the leaves but the leaves don’t really move around the prey

You mentioned an east facing window but the grower I got mine from said shade. My plant has been struggling to make dew since. Humidity is around 70 or higher. Does it need more light?

They’re tricky because they want less light than normal plants but they still do want light. You can try increasing light incrementally. I’ve always grown mine in closed jars, just to the side of my grow light. So they get high humidity and light, but not aggressively direct light.

It can take 2-4 weeks for sundews to generate dew with proper light
