For the grafted plant I think it would be easiest to sacrifice the pot and break it with a hammer or something then remove the rocks after. Good luck with that planty baby!

wowza..the idea of breaking the pot makes me feel nervous but also thrilled with some kind of devious excitement so.. WE SHALL SEE muahahaha😈💜⚒️✨✨ thanks so much for the suggestion!!💜

@@reallybigplant I purchase a couple of the grafted fan plants from Lowe's a while back for $5.00 each (regular price was $14.99 back then). Unfortunately, the pots did not have drainage holes mine and I made the mistake of over- and under watering 2 of them. I have one last little soldier that currently have secondary growth emerging with leaves that never seem to form. The plants are unique and visually appealing. Best of luck with all of your new additions.
Wasn't planning on commenting BUT, I am elated that you got to meet Becca, Adam and Nicole! The four of you are some of my absolute favourites so seeing you all together is a wonderful surprise!
For those glued in rocks, if you just take a screwdriver and a hammer, you can chip off a few rocks at a time until the top layer is off. Usually, if you get that initial layer loosened, the rest will come right out.

I loooooove my philodendron squamiferum!!!!!! Mine has a hard start and died back completely but has grown 3ft in the past year. It rapidly out grows every support I give it, so I’m super interested to see how you grow yours!!!
Waaaah so cool to see you next to Becca, Adam and Nicole! P.S. Those pidgeons on your couch are so cool
I’m so sad for you about the torrential rain hoya! So many good finds in your area. Your grocery store finds are the best I’ve ever seen!

💜💜 thank you for your sympathy 🥲 i thought i was doing the hoya a favor oops!!!
So many great finds at your grocery store! I found a stingray alocasia at Trader Joe’s a few years back for $15. I also found a huge metalhead alocasia at TJs a while ago for $20. It was doing great but then got spider mites (and gave them to the surrounding plants). I put it outside out of frustration and it hasn’t been doing great (too cold and too much rain). After seeing yours though, I’m inspired to give it another shot!
That's so cool that you met Becca, Nicole and Adam!! How fun!! Regarding your Mermaid Tail, (I'm too lazy to go back and look up its real name, lol) be careful you don't over water it. I've had mine for a couple of years now and only water it about once every three to four weeks. I've seen so many people kill them from over watering... Holy cow that Alocasia is huge!!!! You're definitely the rock star of “really big plants,” no pun intended, lol. I'm not an Alocasia fan as I don't want to deal with spider mites, so I stick to the “safe” plants, lol. Thank you for sharing and your new plants are beautiful! 💜💚🍃🌵
Lovely plants 🪴 Like it ❤️ My friend, thank you for good sharing 😊
That alocasia is just stunning! 😍

I am here for the potted together and reallybigplant meet up! 😍😍😍
Yay, new plants!!! I love them all, lol. Happy to see you in better spirits with the renos almost done 💚 Thank you for the new video - your enthusiasm and joy for plants is contagious 😊
Love this video! Thanks for sharing ❤
Love seeing how your new adventures take off!!! Love how exciting you get about your plants!! Have a great week!!!
I can’t believe you got that alocasia metal head at a grocery store! One of our grocery stores in Texas sells everything from succulents to herbs to peppers and houseplants but never anything g bigger than a 5gal. And for $40?? Wow. I’m impressed. Great find!
Your monstera and fiddle leaf is looking so good. Love all the new plants.
Love your new additions, especially that huge Alocasia. I got a Hoya 'Lisa' for about $11 and I was pretty excited because I'd wanted one for awhile. I'm sure you'll find another one for a decent price since some plants are really decreasing in price.
Ahh I love serendipitous moments! I love all of your channels and I’m so glad you all got to meet…at Ecuagenera no less! So cool!
The aloe part was so strange cause my big aloe sprouted one of these odd looking aloe you have. This was shocking anyways cause they look so different. This morning I changed its pot and pruned it and I also smelled something slightly foul. Now this makes sense! Cool! 😮
I love your energy and how I get great care tips watching your videos. I can't wait to see how you arrange and settle in to your new home video.
The metal head is gorgeous!!! Alocasia is my favorite genus of plants 🪴. Great find, perfect for your Really Big Plant channel.
soo cute!!😍😍
Our grocery stores in Ca have upped their houseplant game! I found the most lush hanging Hoya A. Lisa and have seen all the plants you have found at my local grocery store very reasonably priced. I always feel like I need to go to the grocery store for something 😉. Becca and Adam are some of my favorites! 😊
Your Stingray looks AMAZING! Congratulations!
You’re my plant idol❤I always check first to see if you have a new video, then watch others. Living in the desert, I’m into succulents.
Your stingray is so beautiful! What a lucky find.
awesome, they look awesome. I really love alacasias they are some of my favourite plants ever
I live in SoCal. Specifically in the Murrieta/Temecula area. We're so blessed to find so many plants in our big box stores and grocery stores and soooo many nurseries that carries the plants that people are paying big money all over the country and we can get them sooo cheap. I love your ficus, I'm a ficus and sanseviera lover, lots of my plants live outside year round but this year I've lost half of my sansevieras do to weather (rain and frost) I don't do anything special for my indoor plants other than the usual but one thing I do is collect rain water every year for my over a hundred indoor plants and they just love it.
Yaaay for the Euphorbia Crisata "Mermaids Tail" I got one recently because I watched your plant shopping video, thank you, I was sooooo wondering if you kept it in its current pot. The Alocasia Metalhead reminds me of Honey I Shrunk the Kids 🙌 looks beyond amazing, adds such cool vibes to the planty family!! Looking forward to spring and watching our plants new growth 🙂
omg i love my squamiferum so much, im excited for you
the peru is gorgeous!!
Omg it’s my watering day and I was hopping on KZread to listen to some planty videos and BOOM! New video from you ❤️

Love the video. Have a blessed week
Gratulations for the 'Shivereana'! It is such a wonderful variety. And as there is a free space on your ficus wishlist now, I propose to fill it with the variegated clown fig: Ficus aspera 😅
oooo that alocasiaaaaa 😍😍😍
Their all so beautiful
Great video ❤️❤️You got some good deals
The reason the large alocasia was cheap is because they’re considered outdoor plants. Even in MN they sell large alocasias as outdoor plants for that price and people let them die every winter and then repurchase in the spring.
For the water quality issues, definitely invest in a good filter for your faucets. If it’s doing that much damage to your plants, it’s damaging your skin and hair as well.
I had a Frankenplant very similar to that and the rocks were glued in as well. I was amazingly able to slowly work it out with a thin butter knife around the edges of the pot. When I finally got it out, pot intact!, There was a big gap between the soil and the rock. The rock did just crumble off though once freed from the pot. The plant ended up scaring me to handle BC of toxicity levels (can't even recall what they were) and it ended up only living a year or so BC it freaked me out 😬 I had the pot for several years after though and the pot died when my dog was on hospice at home and had a seizure. Pot went through a lot.
I was at the grocery store the other day and saw some alocasia cuprea red secrets that were HUGE for $5!!!! I could not believe it and immediately called any plant friends who also wanted one
Great haul!!

I just ordered a stingray alocasia from etsy this morning! Can't wait for it to get here!
New to your channel and this is a great video. A tip for water for Calathea, if you have seasons with higher humidity and a dehumidifier with a reservoir, you can use that water. No minerals and you don't have to go out and buy distilled water. That's what I do because I'm a cheapskate and my water is pretty mineral-y
hey girl! just wanted to say,you may want to spray the leaves of your philodendron maximum with copper spray. the brown dots with yellow are fungal, spreads kinda quickly but if you get it early on its manageable and won't eat holes I'm your plant! just wanted to let ya know!
Lint rollers are great for removing glitter!
I bought a sting ray alocasia it was a pretty nice size for $15, but it got spider mites and it lost the fight. I will never get one again. It’s a pretty neat looking plant but I’m done due to it getting mites it spread to other plants. Yours is pretty massive I hope you can save it!!! 😉
I add aquarium water conditioner to my Chicago tap water. The manufacturer (API) advised me that using the dosage recommended to neutralize chloromine also works for flouride. I don't keep calatheas, but I've been watering my dracaenas with the treated tap water for several months, and the new leaves have no tip burn.
I was sad to see one of my first imports M. Peru had black spot or some disease . I chopped it into nodes cleaned everything and finally many months later they are growing leaves . I’m going to have a lot of babies soon !
I bought what was supposed to be a squami but its not.. Good luck with all your new babies
what an interesting bunch
Saw the ficus you bought for 39.95 at a small hardware store. Didn't buy, but was a near thing
I had the aloe root rot issue too… fishy rotting meat smell !!! So unbelievably bad lol
Seeing your alocasia stingray made me sad 😭 I just got rid of mine that was infested with spider mites as well. It freaked me out and I was afraid of them spreading to my other plants. I should have tried to treat it.. it was only $10 at trader Joe's and I felt so lucky to find it 😞
For now you can water your prayer plants with the dehumidifier water!

ممنون از ویدئوی خوبتون. سبز و پایدار باشید 🌲
Waooo that is amazing the plant cummunity is great i live in Massachusets but here most of my planty friends are far away wish is suck cu i have lots of rare plants that i want to trade like hoya anthurium etc
Is your Costco aloe in a deep pot that’s full of soil? My pink aloe looks very similar to yours. Mine thrives in a shallow pot with the cactus/perlite mix I repotted it into. Love mine, you will too!!💚
Great haul! Can you share the name of the nursery you got your philodendron from?
I love your videos. Do you still have that really big snake plant?
I got a big full pot of sqamiferum at Costco for 19.99

Visiting San Fran in a few days!! Any recommendations on your favorite plant shops??!
RIP Lisa😢 I’ve recently lost two myself.
I would love to know what happened to your “trash monstera” the five plants you potted together. X
Hi, I'm a video editor and I really enjoy watching your videos :D but I notice you have some problems with the sound and render settings. The "glitches" (in minute 3:50) for example. This can have a few factors, but I can post you a link to a video here that might help you out. With the sound, every now and then you have a crackle in the audio. This happens when you make a cut and put a high tone/loud tone to a low tone/quiet tone. If you are working in Premire you can go between the sound tracks so that a red line appears and then press Shift + D or you can drag the effect "Constand Power" that you find in the Effects window over it. I hope this helps you. kzread.info/dash/bejne/gp-hxo-sl6u4crA.html I hope your house is doing better by now, have a great day.
if you don't mind me asking what are some of your favorite plant shops in San Fransico?
Do you still have the metal head?
I need that alocasia, for that price lol
I wonder if you have considered beneficial insects for these spider mites?
Come oooooon, take the Gluephorbia apart and reveal its secrets.
New house = more space = more plants
was phineas under the couch the whole time?
Hi! We produce hand made self-paint pots…I hope to share with you if ok?
