Hi Patrick! It was so great meeting you at the orchid show! I was star struck and got super shy. I also bought my first anthurium cuz of you! So funny when my husband told you “so you’re the one to blame!” Lol Hope to see you again soon! Keep up the great work!

@@Patadendron Oh no.😪😪. Santa Barbara will be having their International Orchid Show next March 11-13, 2022. The displays alone are worth the admission price. Lots of vendors and good prices. Some of the main growers are in the Carpenteria, Santa Barbara area and are open to the public. The growers are part of the California Orchid Trail. (www.californiaorchidtrail com and www.sborchidshow.com). The show is Friday through Sunday and there are also some beautiful nurseries to check out as well. Can't wait to see your next video and hopefully run into you again.

@@Patadendron Thank you. Here are a couple of places that we have been to: www.terrasolgardencenter.com, www.lasumida.com, www.seaside-gardens.com, www.islandviewnursery.com. The first 2 are in Santa Barbara and the last 2 are in Carpenteria. Orchid growers in Carpenteria thst are really close to these are Westerlays and Gallup and Stribling. There are several more nurseries that we have not been to yet and are looking forward to more exploring. Looking forward to your next adventure. 😀

Love the plants. My favorite ones were the philodendrons.but a lot had brown and yellow spots for 325.00?? But you always go tobso many interesting places for plants. 😊

Hey there. Hello, when were you there. I went on Saturday afternoon around 3. It was a lot less peeps but less plants as well. I was still kinda overwhelmed at the ecuagenera booth though and ended up buying absolutely nothing at the whole show! 😃😄😁😆 i totally love the plant you got! That is awesome. Welcome back! Not as hot as Florida!

Happy Tuesday, Patrick! Glad you enjoyed the plant show at the zoo and that you went home with a good choice. I went with my cousins Nora and Charlene and we were blown away that you showed up. You were so very gracious to take a picture with me. I will always treasure it. I mean, how many people actually get to meet their KZread hero???? Your personality is golden. Hello 👋 It was nice to talk to you at the show. I came home with 10 plants 😂🙄😂!!! I noticed that was much cheaper to buy the plants on their website than at the show. Well … someone had to pay for their plain tickets 🤣 Have a great day ☀️

@@Patadendron They still alive 😂. They are in the water right now in the little pop up green house. Maybe tomorrow I will put them in the sphagnum moss. They need to grow better roots. Philodendron plowmanii Philodendron el choco red Philodendron melanochrysum Philodendron nangaritense Anthurium pallidiflorum Anthurium regale Anthurium waterburyanum Anthurium magnificum 2 x Anthurium argyrostachyrum “Velvety” (I bought two by accident 😳) WOW 😂😂😂

Thanks Patrick it's nice to see some orchids. 10000 species of orchids. All you can ever find are phalaenopsis at a 7-Eleven if you're so inclined. The phalaenopsis is cool it's just not the only Orchid out there. Thanks again see you in the next.

Hi Patrick It was so nice to see you at the orchid show. Did you pick up an orchid while you were there? There were so many different types of beautiful plants to choose from, but that is what makes these shows so much fun. Can't wait to see what you picked up.

That was real nice a lot of plants I wouldn’t know what to look at first !! So many people I would have felt claustrophobic lol mainly because of covid thank you for sharing LOVE your glasses

Hi Patrick. So many plants and different orchards. Oh my I would have went crazy seeing all the Hoya. I love watching all of them grow. Maybe I could have could an Australis Lisa Hoya. I should propagate some of my Hoya’s but I’m afraid too. I don’t want to kill them but would like to make the pot fuller. Thank you for the video’s. Take care Patrick.

You should try propagating! It’s hard at all with Hoyas! I have a good success rate with rooting Hoya in perlite, moss and water!

I would never understand hype about hoyas, they look so common to me.

I was the same way! Until I got one to flower… now I’m in love with their growth pattern, their foliage and flowers! Little botanic gems from the worlds most beautiful and remote jungles 🥰

Hi! Not that I know of, but u do know that Ecuagenera will be back in Calabasas this December!

I wish I know - so I can go ….buy some plants - orchids…..

I found out through ecuagenera’s website! I had placed an order and I was going to pick them up from the show in Miami but then I saw that they were going to be in Santa Ana shortly after so I thought it be better to pick them up near my house where I can perform plant triage 😅
