I have solid green spider plants and they go into my garage unwatered and left alone until spring when they get a buzz cut and a slice through the root ball and repotted for the growing season. Really hardy plants. They can withstand SW exposure. Mine stay outside in the elements during spring/summer/fall

There’s a cafe that I pass by a couple times a week that has a solid green spider plant with many babies!! I’m officially convinced to take a chance and ask them if I can have one 😂

Spider plants are honestly the bane of my existence 😂 every one I get dies a very gruesome death. I've tried humidity, less sun, more sun, special water noooooope they hate me

Oh nooo😭💜 maybe it’s that they can be tricky to figure out the watering schedule if you’re a diligent waterer! I’m such a huge under waterer and my spider plants don’t seem to mind too much so maybe that’s helped me out with them.. but yeah I totally get it when a plant group just says nope haha 😅 good thing there are so many cool other types of plants out there 😊💜🌿 thanks so much for watching and sharing your experience!💕

I love my spider plants! I know they are common and people don't care about them as much but I love them! I never see the all green ones for sale anywhere but my bosses wife gifted me a couple of babies off hers last year. I also have a Bonnie, it's just adorable. I have a Fire Flash! It doesn't grow babies 😅 new leaves come from the center. It is extremely low light loving. Be careful not to give it direct light or it will yellow and crisp 😂 otherwise likes to be in a more dense soil and chill

I love seeing all the spider plant varieties side-by-side, it makes me want a bonnie one that much more. I have a summer glory and it's becoming one of my favorites.

My favourite spider plants are the solid green ones and like you mentioned they are not that easy to find. Luckily my mum has a massive and old green variety that gives pups like if there's no tomorrow so I have endless supply 😅

I just got a solid green one and I can’t remember if it was Lowe’s or Home Depot. It was one of those box stores and I was looking for plant pots and looked through the plants (because of course you have to if you’re there )and found this and thought it was different. I had never seen it either.

Ooh yay that so exciting!! I hope you are enjoying it!! 😍 I just had a sad thing happen with mine- there was a big new leaf starting to emerge and it got super stuck (probably because my low humidity) and I found the petiole snapped right below the leaf with the leaf still partially stuck in the sheath 😭 I taped the petiole back together like a little graft but I don’t think this leaf will recover ❤️‍🩹😅 so I guess my main advice so far is humidity haha 💜🌿

Hi there! Bought a Fire Flash and it came with something I've never seen before, turns out it was pre-mature seed pods. Found out you have to wait for them to "dry up" or wait until they bloom to harvest the seeds. However my plant declined so couldn't harvest the seeds and I don't think my plant area is suitable for spider plants.

Hey kaitlyn!! I’ve been watching your channel for years! I was wondering how the verrucosom mini cuttings was doing? I have been looking at ordering a cutting from Etsy and wanted to see if it was easy or hard to propagate them lol 🤪

Green spider plants are common where i am but not as common as the variegated ones.

I have a Trouble Tonight that i got over the summer. They sent mine in moss and in moss it stayed till last month (which was NOT the plan) but it made it. It's a beast and takes a beating. Since i finally got it repotted i've been pampering it, so we'll see what it does with actual care. 😅

I just received an order with the ant plant! I'm not sure if I should remove the moss? What are you planning to do with yours?

Do you grow your Michelmollaria under a glass cloche or a table top greenhouse? I have found the spider plant Bonnie is very slow growing, which I like. The Tangerine Fire spider plant is very sturdy and is a lush grower. I have an Ola water stake which keeps it in constant contact with moisture. I also have it in a self- watering pot within a ceramic cache pot. Be prepared for this to grow into a massive shrub. Mine is 3 years old and still growing larger. I started with a smallish plant. One of my favorites, because of the neon orange stems.❤
