Yes I have planners similar to those and they work great my set up is on down Riggers

I’m having a hard time getting the release to slide down the planer board line. They stop about mid way and I have to shake it like crazy to get it where I want it. What am I doing wrong? Thank you for the explanation

One boat taking 80-100 feet wide of water, 3-4 boats like that on a lake will have trouble maneuvering on the water, ohhh and on the summer....boy

Ya, this works when you have a lake/area to yourself. I'm up in BC, and boaters love to run by, as close to you, and as fast as they can go.
