Placement of rectal foley catheter in a dog
Rectal foley's can be a lifesaver for patients with severe diarrhoea or incontinence. Instead of soiling themselves and causing distress, faeces empties into a standard urine collection set. Be cautious not to overinflated and cause pressure necrosis, and be sure to deflate and move them at least twice daily.

I didnt expect soul music here... but it works
How to you secure it because I have had patients almost get it out, I’ve seen like a purse string suture done

typically using a catheter with a larger balloon will help, but of course it depends on the size of the dog. a proper Fecal Management System with a double-ballon insert is more practical for giant breeds.
