this is the raw, edgy and non-conforming Placebo we all fell in love with and it makes me sad watch interviews years later and Brian embarassed remembering the early years of himself on the band. They all look and sound perfect here

he just grew up his singing got better, but he also got more mature and maybe for him performing in dress seems now like a silly way to express himself

He couldn’t possibly stay that way sadly as we all have to face mortality. I think it’s cool, cuz we get to see his entire career unfold and he’s still the same just a little toned down lol

C est normal qu à 50 ans il soit moins dans la provocation et plus en phase avec lui même.. Ils avaient qd même une sacrée énergie et une grande ingéniosité musicale, artistique à leurs débuts.. L audace, la beauté le talent... Ils pouvaient se permettre ses excentricités mignonnettes à 22 ans.. A 50 ans ce serait carrément déplacé. Ils ont évolué vers quelques choses de plus spirituel depuis.. Les années Bouddhistes de Brian sont passées par là... Ils n ont pas à rougir de leur jeunesse car on a toutes (tous) plus ou moins été dans la provoc.. C était mon cas à 24 ans je jouais un rôle, qui ne me correspondait pas d hyper classe, bourge, sexy alors que plus romantique que moi c etait impossible.... Pour le fun, pour la provoc qu on peut vouloir à 24 ans.. Heureusement qu ils ne se trimballent plus en jupettes à 50 ans, sinon ce serait grave dramatique... Leur dernier album est superbe musicalement parlant et au niveau des textes... Ils avaient aussi à l époque de super textes.. En tout la voix sensuelle, les riffs et les textes suggestifs font d eux un groupe à part, addictif et atypique dans le bon sens du terme et ils nous renvoient beaucoup d émotions ce qui prouvre leur honnêteté et leur authenticité.... et leur talent

The next day at school, after their Top of the pops. Classmates were proper roasting on Brian.. I went to an all boys school and the look on their faces when they found out he wasn't a hot chick! 😅 Brian you legend!🤘
