Top 5 Favorite Placebo Gig. Molko was absolutely connected to the music and the crowd. The band was awesome. The setlist is one of my favorite pre-Loud Like Love. Gorgeous musicianship here. It was worth it to see Molko smile through Bright Lights and to hear B3 which is one of the songs I play a lot. Awesomeness.

Can't believe it has been 8 years since I was swept away by this concert... I was lost, wandering around by myself and just walked into this crowd hypnotized by the music

I love how there's only one phone light in the entire crowd. All of those people, feeling deeply & intensely PLACEBO music with all their soul is so mesmerizing, as much as the music.

Got so choked up in the first couple of minutes. Miss that buzz and anticipation of waiting for your favourite band to start jamming so much! Stay safe all, it'll happen again

I know I have told someone this before but last year in July 2019 we were at the Red box renting a movie. We decided to get the "Elizabeth Smart movie" about her kidnapping here in Utah and rescue 9 months later. The version we got is the one Elizabeth produced. While getting it the lady by me had a cure t shirt on. We talked about cool bands. She didn't know Placebo. I told her they were about 2 years younger than me so they made it big when she and I were out of high school. I told her to look them up and buy some c.d's. So, I go home....after dinner and cleaning I was relaxing to this DVD about local Elizabeth Smart. Only ONE song is done thru the whole movie....Running up that hill. PLACEBO'S version!! The best version. I was so proud she chose their version of that song! That was my favorite part anyway. It was one of the best days of my life when she was captured and I didn't even know her. The Utah Valley's all run into one big Valley so everywhere you turned there were reminders. I feel so sick about all the other missing children, teenagers and adults. I think I must have sensed she was alive because I never stopped praying she would be found. Usually when this happens I pray for the family and that if the victim was hurt they would go into Euphoria. I am not a religious fanatic but I love spiritual things. The only thing helping me get thru for a while now. These Placebo concerts gave me some great joy. I don't know if the band really knows all their fans have a story I have been broken up and the medication barely works. See...my caffeine is making me "talk" to one of my PLACEBO soul sisters. I don't have social media. I flew to Ireland a year ago. I was in Ballybricken at Dolores Oriordan's grave exactly a year ago today. September 21. If I had social media I would show you pictures. This is the only socializing I do on line. I don't even talk to anyone anymore in real life. Life is crazy. My happiness is in music and my Grandbabies. I have GOT to see PLACEBO someday! I get lucky at all these other big name concerts but I just haven't been able to see placebo. I looked them up the times I went to England, France and Ireland a few times but no luck. That was an amazing edition of the festival and a strong Romanian representation. Watch also Korn’s performance from that year, it was pure awesomeness.
