When my family uses that trap, and I see a rat trapped in it and wriggling and struggling, I kind of want to help it. But at the same time, I don't want it to spread germs and possibly get me or my family sick. So I get where he's coming from.

Holy moly I LOVE the idea behind fake peppino. A clone of you, but everything just feels... Off. Everything is wrong, reversed, and everything feels like a hellhone that you can't escape, thus the name pizza time never ends. And the fact the song feels off and even unstable just adds to this faver dream like feeling. And then the failed clones appear, making you question what's even happening anymore. Such a well written boss, fitting it was kept under cover throughout the whole game.

I like how Fake Peppino's tone shifts from wanting to make Peppino a pizza topping to wanting to CONSUME Peppino in hopes that his pizza making knowledge will transfer to him. It shows how Fake Peppino is so sick of not knowing how to make good pizza, failing over and over again. Always trying to emulate Peppino's pizza. So eventually, he thought "If Peppino becomes part of me, I'll become whole, I'll become what I was always supposed to be."

I love how sometimes Fake Peppino says the exact opposite of what he means E.G: "I'm determined to collect your disrespect" and he means he's determined to collect his respect

Okay, I probably am overanalyzing this but I just noticed that when Fake Peppino is consuming Peppino, Peppino's text looks a lot closer to the color of Fake Peppino's text, and then when he breaks free, he's text is back to normal. Love the little details.

I see fake peps as not only a fan boy but also wanting to be his favorite pizza maker (While peppino goes through a mid life crisis and asking questions to stall fake pepperoni so he can try to kill him faster but talking to pepperoni is only making him more insane

This is so well made, a perfect fitting mix of unsettling and humerous!

I like to think that each boss teaches Peppino something. Pepperman teaches him to not do the same thing over and over, and to not be cocky. The Noise teaches him to not cling to the past. Fake Peppino/Pseudough teaches him to not be focused on only work, and to take some time to himself. At least, that's what I'm getting from these songs.

He loves what he does, but the necessity of it all is eating away at him, and at times, it feels like there's no end to the work and no light on the other side.

can I just say how much I love how you interpreted fake peppino’s speech here? most fanart or fanfiction I see has him speak backwards, which works for that medium, but obviously wouldn’t work for a song, so having him speak in malapropisms is really a clever way to keep his “backwards” vibe while still making him intelligible

I'll be honest, i didn't expect Fake Peppino to actually speak let alone sing, most of the time when he "talk's" it's either in backwards sentences, incomprehensibly mixed sentences, or just distorted screaming that simultaneously feel joyous and pain-ridden!

I like that "peppinos" works as both a consistent name for fake peppino AND works as kind of a plural, considering the fact that he can clone himself This cover was freakin phenomenal! Loved the It's Pizza Time callbacks, too! :D

I'm surprised not many people are talking about the "Okay Campers, Rise and Shine" part.

I love how Fake Peppino keeps his backwards language but not in the way that he just copies Peppino, but instead just says the opposite of what Peppino says. Sort of like a pseudo language in which you CAN understand what he is saying but not really. Not to mention his whole character is just this fake trying to be the real deal by any means necessary. Another solid lyric cover. This is P RANK material ❤

I think I've watched this 10 times already, some of your best work. Fake Peppino being portrayed as an excitable dork yet also a single-minded psychopath. Plus the art feels so accurate to how the game feels, especially during the chase sequence at the end. At least Fake Peppino can finally comprehend unfulfilment

I like how sometimes fake peppino acts silly and cute (3:08 is probably the silliest looking moment) and sometime he acts very creepy and disturbing its a really nice touch and kinda how I imagine him to be

Sonic has Metal Sonic Mario has Wario (or even Cosmic Mario) And Peppino has a ditto pretending to be him

Love how the introduction for fake peppino looked like some sort of joke only to show us the horror of Fake Peppino, slowly and slowly being more unhinged and splitting more and more till the big surprise at the end Also love the little jokes before the credits

Dude, this was an absolute treat. It was so fun, and I lost it at "what the focaccia". It was so fun to watch, and all the art is so nice, especially the slight animatied bit before the bombardment of "Pizza Time will never, ever end"s, which, by the way, stunning delivery, got a scared chill down my spine for that one. This is just perfect, and bonus points for the Wrecked/RecD interaction at the end. That outro from Wrecked [Yes, that's what I'm calling it.] was fun.✨

I like how this version of Fake Peppino still takes that speaks in reverse but makes it understandable by just replacing the word with another word of the opposite meaning. Its it a really nice detail and I enjoyed it a lot. Keep up the good work!

I feel like this level is sort of a metaphor for peppinos burn out with his restaurant trying so hard to pay for his life while also being successful takes lots of time to make the perfect pizza and in the end it feels like a never ending “pizza time” so peppino over coming this is a achievement for the game and also for his life

ok the chase went from: o no scary to: WHY DOES FAKE PEPPINO KNOW ABOUT THE STRUGGLES OF LIFE WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Something about “You’re so close to joining the LOSING TEAM!” feels oddly clever to me Obviously it’s part of his sparse Bizzaro-esk talk where he says the opposite of what he means, but it also fits perfectly even when not taken in that context as that final chase has the possibility of Peppino finally losing, joining the Losing Team as a result. A lot of his Bizzaro dialog can be oddly taken directly as it’s said and still makes sense without the knowledge he’s not saying what he means
