Cant imagine amys horror when she hugged him, just to see the WRONG SONIC.

Imagine the arena is a makeshift green hill. Most items like rings or rocks are cardboard cut outs, then during the second phase, limbs from Fake Sonic began to emerge from rocks, the sunflowers are replaced with just faces of Sonic with petals around it, sorta like a reference to that one Sonic Boom episode.

What if Fake Peppino was just a shapeshifter who was really bad at his job? Like, a Ditto that exclusively transformed based on memory?

Okay, but I'd kinda like to see this Fake Sonic in an EXE-style project (not necessarily based on the EXE story), but still - the idea of having this grotesque approximation of Sonic chasing us down and threatening to devour us sounds like my idea of a good time.
