PIZZA SAUCE RECIPE

Follow this recipe and tip for a delicious homemade pizza sauce.
Ingredients:
1 28OZ - 794g can of Italian San Marzano tomatoes
2-3 sprigs of basil
2 cloves of garlic
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
olive oil
salt

    You are very welcome…most recently I have been just quickly blending a can of San Marzano tomatoes with some fresh basil and a pinch of salt…simple, easy and a delicious sauce. 👍

    This type of pizze is called Neo Margherita. Regular Margherita is Fresh passata pomodoro con sale Basilico Mozzarella di buffalla (perro pillone di Mozzarella e ok. ) Grana o regiano Olio di oliva extra vergine. E basta.!

    I love your recipes, but no Italian cooks a pizza sauce. You want the freshness of the tomatoes, and the cooking on the pizza is enough. Just my opinion, and many other's 😘

    I totally agree with you…and that is why on the video I mentioned that you can just use the crushed tomatoes with the basil and that is delicious fresh sauce, specially if you have an oven that will heat up high enough to cooktop dough when using a wetter sauce, I’ve made it both ways with great results. Since a lot of home ovens can’t reach really high temperatures that it why I prefer reducing the sauce a bit before using it, but either way works great. Thank you! 🙏
