We always recoomend contacting your local council to check in to see if they have any rules around them - in our experience there have been no restrictions on building them, the key is to ensure that your flue complies with the standards, which ensures it will be safe but also will specify a height that takes the smoke up and away from your neighbours. During days of total fire ban you will not be able to use the oven.
I'd love to know what oven temp it got up to when that cardboard was conflagrating!

Well for stainless to glow red I think it has to reach about 800C.....
.....but shall hold off some cardboard for a fun treat for the kids (and me) next pizza night!

Oh there's more, one day we will have to show you how hot these ovens can get. We melted aluminium a while back...
Great video! Just returned from a most excellent social club xmas breakup at summerfeild winery where we experianced amazing pizzas (second only to the ones we make at home in your d105....internal biases noted :) ) and and outstanding atmosphere, brilliant wine and beer list. Makes me proud to catch up with fellow melb fire brick wood fired oven owners..... we know what rocks

Pieces of cardboard is great to light up the woods. Saves tons of time and gas in my propane tank.

Used correctly, cardboard is a great source of kindling! Used like this, it is a source of anxiety 😂
This was just n excuse to do what you said one’s son (or daughter) would do when one went to the shop to get some ingredients.
