The people who rescue, rehab, foster, and adopt abandoned, injured and abused animals are angels who walk among us. ❤

I just rescued a bait dog and from them duct taping its mouth shut it could not defend itself it has permanent scars i have rescued and rehomed a lot of animals but this one will be that one I will definitely keep because it is terrified of its own shadow and I think it would be too traumatic for it to be passed to another person And I made the dog a promise that it would never be harmed again and would know what it is to be loved and cared for now hes a mommas boy and has to cuddle at night before me he had never been in a home let alone a warm bed and only I know that I can keep that promise I love seeing videos like this God-bless you

@@jr5296 We eat animals that are treated very well up until the time they are eaten. Yes some places treat animals badly but more and more people are conscious of where their meat cones from. Also at least some people HAVE to eat livestock. If we don't they'll just keep multiplying until there are too many and not enough resources for them. That doesn't mean people can abuse livestock either.

Not going to lie, I cried like a baby watching this. Dogs have a special place in my heart and seeing this dog go from rags to riches makes me feel some type of way. Really appreciate people like this and their efforts to make the world a better place.

We need FAR stronger punishment towards animal crimes like this. Assault on animals should be the same as assault on another human.

My heart literally sunk when i first saw that dog. So glad he’s in a MUCH better environment now. Poor boy.

@@Skies133 The dog to be shredded alive by the bigger dogs to amp them up, getting them tasting blood and fear. It gets bitten to death, torn to shreds and thrown away in the trash alive and slowly bleeding out from the wounds. By the time all the peeps be done with their gambling etc. you could have a recycle sized bin full of dying/dead bait dogs thrown away in the trash just for a one night event. Every dot on the dog's fur is a tooth mark/bite from a fighter dog. Basically, imagine throwing a toddler in an arena for grown men to bite, brutalize and eat. Imagine their skin hanging off and muscles dragging as they try to get away. Never mind if it's multiple dogs on one. Then they literally tear the bait dog in half while it's screaming. They do it with chickens/roosters and put blades on them as the people who partake in such filth like it to get bloody. The only thing to do with anyone who fights animals is to shoot them in the head as it's insanely sick, sick, sick. You can google dog fighting, bait dogs if you have the stomach. I Don't recommend it. You can't forget it. Take care.

MEN need to start using their brains and hearts and stop using dogs to fight - they're perfectly welcome to fight themselves!) Sadly, that probably won't ever happen. So people will have to let go of the stereotypes and misconceptions about the breed, and people need to learn how to care for AND HOW TO READ A DOG'S BODY LANGUAGE before getting a pet. These dogs are the most laid back and forgiving of their family, children especially. Still every dog can be provoked past its limit and attack, if no one is paying attention to what it says. If more people would realize what big mush ball teddy bears these dogs were and how much pure, unconditional love they surround you with, the shelters all over the world would be empty of pitties! Each one would have his best forever family and the burden lifted from overcrowded shelters might actually be enough to stop the killing and give be every animal enough time to be get a family. To me that's very close to a perfect world.

“Bait” dogs. I just cannot. The type of person who could watch, or willingly allow, the suffering of a dog (or any animal) in order for entertainment, food, or the ultimate goal of making $, is a person extremely dangerous to society. Most hunters don’t even want to cause any more pain than necessary-if a person is unbothered by torture they’re the beings who should be euthanized, not the dogs

The dog wasn't used for shows he was used for training for champion dogs so they could practice and once they're dead or they are no good anymore they throw them away like trash just like they did to him they threw him away like he was a piece of garbage.

Dog fighting is especially popular in Mexico and Central America, it has been on the increase because of mass unregulated immigration into the United States and is linked to cartel crime. I am really amazed at how sweet and calm this dog is with the other dog and humans after all the trauma he had gone through. The fact that he didn't even wanted to fight his rescuers just for being strangers tells how tired he was🤍

Omg can I just thank everyone from the bottom of my heart that save animals.

That dog is much less animal and more human than the people who used it to fight.

I believe that animals deserve the best care from humans most especially our pets and animals that live around us..... Do you love animals?

Almost made it through the video with out tearing up until I saw that last picture of Liam healthy and smiling. Looking very happy. What a sweet boy he deserves a good life.

That poor little baby boy. He's got the cutest little eye spot too. Some people are just dumb and/or heartless. Good job rescuing the baby boy!

People who do this to animals should be punished severely.

My family took in a pit that was rescued from a fighting ring. She was so broken when we got her. Had burn scars on her face where they put cigarettes out on her. When she started realizing she was safe with us and started coming out of her shell, she had the biggest heart.

@@mrsdradc we ended up having to rehome her because we moved and pits weren’t allowed. But her new family has sent us pics. She is thriving with her pit siblings.

When Kent tells Liam, "These little scars will heal" and "You are a beautiful boy" - brings me to tears. Such a loving thing to say to a dog who feels broken, inside and out. And I believe Liam understood. I'm so happy he found a loving forever home that spoils him.

My dog was a rescue bait too. They become the most expressive and emotionally connected dogs! I hope you enjoy being Mom to such an incredible spirit. 💚

Yea my first dog I ever adopted/had my own was a ‘bait & breed’ dog from down in the hood of Baltimore, she was a little over a year old and had had 2 litters of puppies already and half a ear and scars galore on her face and she weighed 18 pounds… She had terrible separation anxiety and was very aggressive to anyone other than me and my family, it took 1-2 years but she ended up being one of the greatest dogs - 65 pounds, incredibly smart and well behaved and loyal as they come, was became an ambassador for the shelter we adopted her from and served as a poster dog for them for like ‘what a good home and loving family can do for these dogs ESPECIALLY PITBULLS’ - just overall was an awesome dog, my first Pitbull which I vowed I would never get one because around that area people have those dogs for the wrong reasons or for a status symbol and I didn’t want to contribute to the stereotype but after walking the local shelters and realizing how many Pits and Pit mixes were incarcerated I was blown away and I was introduced to the sweetest most timid and shy but loving dog I’d ever met (Jenni) and I went back several more times to visit her and each time became harder to leave without her so one day after work I said f*ck it I’m goin to get this dog! And she lived a long happy spoiled life with me and then the girl I dated for years, she had her until she passed two years ago of cancer but she made it to 11-12 years old and was fat n happy lol and SO APPRECIATIVE, THEY KNOW! That was pretty long I’m sorry, just wanted to share lol

like an eye for an eye...i agree, this would be great, but rescue the all the dogs after they have a go at all of the scumbags that are part of this sick operation.Rescue the dogs, and burn down their entire sacreligious buildings ...and..maybe he could bring a few of his canine friends to help him take out an eye or two on all of them maggots too much i guess?..lol....sorry i get very fanatical when it comes to animal rights. ps...perhaps the gentleman who commented above, could help me load a gun?...lol..cheers all

He didn't even growl when they rescued him but instead he wag his tail. I'm in love with him😍😍😍

Those dogs just melt your heart after what they have been through and they STILL are love bugs , great people who love and work too heal their scarred hearts THANK YOU!!

I feel the same way but I wouldn't recommend these types of dogs for children sometimes. Animals can have PTSD, flashbacks and can even be violently set off by a trigger word that's unknown to the new owners. A trigger word that was used by the previous owner to switch him on for dog fights. I can't guarantee that that will happen but it's something to consider. However this guy LiLi looks like a real sweetie. So happy for him he got a second chance.

Glad he’s finally living the best life.

The trauma he must keep reliving is heart wrenching. But, he knows he's home, and jas this amazing family now. And it's awesome that his Mom can put all that time and love into him (them both,) too. That exactly what such an abused dog needs. ❤

When you first see him you see how evil people can be, then in the end you see how amazing people can be! I’m so happy he got his wonderful forever home, and Dalia!

I love the patch on his eye. They are both adorable. Now he’s learned how to be a spoiled dog.

Pitbulls are very loyal and sweet dogs.

My heart broke seeing how he was found. I’m so unbelievably happy that he now has a beautiful home with more love than he could imagine. The thought of what he survived that many dogs don’t just breaks me.

Well this story for sure has a very happy ending

I was thinking the same thing! He just seems so tired after all the dog fighting & such! It’s so heartbreaking. This has my heart like crying!
