I ve watched the fuel injector cleaning clip. It was very easy and excellent. Please show how to clean the catalytic converter as well. Thank you.

Amazing. I have had pinging issue in my camry for years until I decided to do the same to my car last year. Wish I saw the video earlier. I did both induction cleaning method and piston soak. Since I did not have seafoam, I used Liquimoly intake cleaner. I had severe carbon build up on the whole piston head and in my case, only piston soak over night worked. Engine now runs happily with low octane fuel.

Do you think that this method also cleaned any carbon on the piston rings? I ask because there is a well-known problem in Volvo 2.0T engines from 2013-2016. The belief is that the oil control ring is defective and doesn't allow the oil from the cylinder wall to drain. Eventually the constant burning of oil allegedly damages the piston rings and piston heads. So I need to try to clean off the carbon in my 2016 V60 that has 178,000 miles on it.

thank you, great video. I have a 2007 RAV4 with the 2AZ-FE engine. It's burning a lot of oil now, it's a known design flaw with the engine 2007-2009. Issue is carbon buildup occurs blocking ports designed to let oil flow through. I'm not sure if this can help re-open those ports, but it's worth a try. thanks.

I've had an even better result using a fuel additive containing P.E.A. I put a dose of Archoil AR 6900 -P Max in every tank (workrs out to a three or four cents per litre. My piston heads are completely without carbon. The additive makes supermarket petrol into 'Super' grade - at lower cost. It also helps prevent problems with E10 fuel, and burns very clean. My 100 000miles Yaris was recently inspected and the tester seemed suprised at the low levels of the exhaust emissions. I'd be interested to see you do a test of a similar product!

Thanks a lot for the another nice video. I bought crc carb. and egr cleaner. If I use it from the vacuum line of fuel canister hose to directly intake manifold is it harmful for the turbo or catalytic converter and oxygen sensor? The engine is toyota turbo 1.2 liter 8NR-FTS direct injection.

I dont recommend it for turbo cars, there is a specific cleaner for turbos, and they are very much safe, sometimes carb cleaner make turbos make a squeaking noise

It really depends on the fuel you are using, my car has 35k and it had that much carbon, checking once a while better

That is such a small amount of carbon. No need for the tool or Seafoam, which is made up of mostly cheap oil, which is why it smokes, and is harmful to catalyst system. Simply use a premium high octane fuel and perform an Italian Tune Up. I have tested many of these products, and they do little, using borescope camera, and many create even more. Most modern intakes are not designed to flow vapor or liquids, they collect in the bottom of the intake. You can see it with your scope.

Actually removing carbon from the cilinders decreases the compression rate.... So carbon build up in pistons makes the engine more efficient. Simple logic.

I need to do this to my cars. I just checked the pistons w a camera and they are a little worse than what you show. I've never done it so I'm hesitant how to locate which vacume hose to use. Did you feel any difference?

The most important thing is, don't use too much. You can hydrolock the engine and kill it. A little bit over a big amout of time
