Congrats on closing in on 10K Moo! You deserve it and it’s been fun coming along on the ride. Looks like a decent reel also, especially for $50. If you can get 4 or 5 years out of it, that’s all you can really ask for

Yes, I like it a lot. It's quite stable. Just as stable as the Revo 13 if not more. The fish hatch is the game changer and good speed.

To be honest, I never casted very far with this reel since I'm on the yak or boat most of the time. It casted great for short distance.

I can but I would rather use the Alijoz 8.1:1 because of the retrieval speed. Often times salmon will swim at you and you have to pick up the slack quick. I like 40lb braided.

I knew that was you!!! LOL I was out there as well. The bite wasn't so good for a lot of folks, but I managed to nail a huge Halibut. It was a little over 33 inches and weighed 10.5lbs. It was no where near the size of the one you caught!!! 😆😆 I made fish tacos with it last night..!!!👍👍

This sounds crazy but Piscifun Alijoz 300 can handle ocean king salmon. Great lightweight reel. 👍

@@MooMooOutdoors I wanted to get Lexa 300 or 400 for a long time now but $$$. I've caught ocean kings, halibut, and rockfish with this cheap reel for 2 years. Haha. Might look into the Chaos series once this one goes.
