Don't ever change, the Isle of Wight is a gem and is fine just the way it is :)

Hi, another great video, Shanklin seafront is a great place in the summer and has had a lot of work done over the last few years with the old (very dull) golf courses being replaced with the new ones. The reason why they charge for the lift is mainly because of the amount it costs to keep it open each year, it's 130 years old and in 2016 alone the walkway at the top had to be replaced at a cost of £700,000. A the top there are loads of hotels so it's great for the oldies who can't walk up and down the steps etc. to get to the seafront. I went to Shanklin for years when I was a kid for our summer holidays so it is bringing back some lovely memories. The chine is definitely worth going to in the evenings, we always pretended the lights were fairies. Worth a visit if your in Shanklin

Really nice town Shanklin, was looking into going on holiday there last year, but didn't in the end go. Lift is a bit of a shame, as that should really be free of charge or less priced for tourism. We don't live on the isle of wight but just across the water in Hythe Hampshire, so have grown up with the island as a back drop as a view when looking out to sea, its actually closer to the island than it would be living either side of the island itself, so I would say we are close. It will be even closer when the bridge is finally built to the island Atwell 😀

Have a fantastic time. There’s so much to see on the island!

Hastings is the place for mini golf and crazy golf and you've got the rides 2 new ride there this year and beware off the seagulls lol... and the old town is worthwhile a walk about cheese cottage and loads of old quirky cottages

There’s a crazy golf course near the trafford center where you knock the ball into a stream of red water and it gets filtered out at the end!

Great Vlog! Although I have to correct you that Sandown is definitely bigger out of the two seaside resorts, and even bigger is Ryde (a bit further around the coastline)

This small family amusement park features a junior roller coaster along with a variety of other attractions. Located next door to the amusement park is a heavily themed 18 hole adventure golf course! Wondering when's the next time you're joining Swedens Gröna lund and Liseberg? Gröna lunds newest Monster definitely has the speed and g force that Kvasten didn't have. Lisebergs very short but still a good Drop coaster Valkyrie is finished. It'll be exciting to see you on the vlog again!

We know of many theme parks and attractions from previous visits and various park websites, however we also use the roller coaster database to find new coasters for us to ride!

The amount of planning permissions you need to build a theme park is astronomical. Even if someone started designing one now, you wouldn't see it for at least a good 7-8 years, if they're even allowed to build in the first place. I'd like to see a big one in the south west, but I don't see that ever happening either (and no, I'm not counting Brean or Crealy lmao)

@@thomosevans There's been a stink kicked up by environmentalists (and a few grumpy old people who hate fun), Merlin is trying to get involved as well (although that's blatantly because they're afraid of the competition), and I think that's a really scummy move from them. No way will they be able to build the theme park entirely in 2022 (they might be able to start though), for a project of the size they are doing you'll probably be looking at a 2024/2025 opening

It’ll be interesting to see if the London Resort is ever built. We’d love to see it happen however it’s a huge process!

Crazy golf always seems rushed at these places. Hate groups of people just all watching you whilst they wait their turn
