Stage 1 - Seed thought/seed idea is sown in mind usually by reading/hearing about something. Stage 2 - Gathering step- (Filling up the barn with all kinds of hay) Gathering information about the seed. Stage 3 - Praying, Reading and Thinking and Doodling on pieces of paper toward creating a structure/order (chapters/groupings) Stage 4 - Just start writing anywhere, maybe the middle of the book or conclusion or introduction Stage 5 - Try to avoid worn-out jargon. Try to describe and explain in fresh and compelling ways Stage 6 - The book begins to take on a life of its own - Ideas start coming from the very writing itself- ideas that we did not have before we began to write
