Not an experienced, safe driver. No need for all that clutch abuse and the rolling backwards* is a big no no which can be prevented. Listening to the rpm's and looking at the actual motion when his foot is off the clutch indicates that he is not even in the lowest gear. * Pinzgauers have a hand throttle so you can accelerate while having one foot on the clutch and the other on the brake to prevent that rolling backwards which is not only unsafe but bad for the vehicle.

Pinzgauer is based on same spinal tube concept as Tatra trucks (same designer Hans Ledwinka). To my taste the Pinzgauer overall concept is not balanced enough. Weak engine, extreme frame height makes it wow machine, but where it can hardly climb Tatra can bring 6+ tons of load. What is an "art of driving" for Pinzgauer driver is just the daily routine for Tatra. Nice fun car anyway.

The designer was Erich Ledwinka (Steyr´s chief designer). Hans was his father, who also worked at Steyr and Tatra but couple of years earlier, before Pinzgauer was designed by Erich.
