ABOUT ME:
Hello lettering friend! I’m Sarah from Ensign Insights. I started hand lettering in 2016 during a really difficult time and hand lettering reminded me how to be happy. I dove in head first and haven’t looked back! I started teaching lettering and sharing that joy I found with others. My goal is to help you create hand lettering that feels like your best self. Most recently I've been doing that through a Hand Lettering Journal. In 2021 my first book was published, Hand Lettering for Beginners. It includes everything I wish I had when I got started. I used to be addicted to buying new pens, and while I still love pens, I’m on a journey toward minimalism so I’ve been decluttering A LOT of pens. I’ve realized I’m more creative when I have just enough pens, not too many. I firmly believe that you can create something beautiful with what you have! The way you create right now is exactly where you need to be. Thank you for being here! :)

The flip through for the end result was beautiful! So creative with the cascading pages and washi tape! I would love ANY new series! One thing that came to mind was a series on taking a simple piece (a quote, a layout) and experimenting with different ways to "level up" a beginner -looking piece to something more intermediate.

I did it but I found an A5 size didn’t quite work. I think you need more space like in your square one. Loved it though 🩷❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜
hey Sarah, could you make a video for the best pens for Bible paper (which is very thin)?
I thought the hardest part was getting all my pens together. I had to search in each room for my pens. As I’m not very organised with them 😂
Thank u for these informative videos, they are so helpful to me when I’m deciding to buy new brush pens!! Love that u thoroughly review every aspect of the pens! Was wondering if u have used the PENTEL dual sign brush pens. I heard they have a BRUSH TIP on both ends (one big and some small) instead of one brush and one bullet. Someone told me that it’s one large brush tip on one end and the other side is the small brush tip, and that they are AMAZING and super beginner friendly (more than the tombow fudes and sign touches even the fudebiyoris) I seen them on Amazon for like 30 bucks for a set of 30, but didn’t want to invest cause I can’t find much info on them. It would be amazing if u have tried these pens and would share ur opinion (cause u have tried sooooo many pens) lol. I would love to hear what u think of them and if they’re as easy to use and great as I heard. Thanks!!!
