I really feel the struggle when doing this stuff because sometimes the water color will go and stick in my hand and it will ruin everything because I'm left handed. But you were able to do it perfectly

Lovely video thanks. Switching the camera to Manual Focus MF after you've let it focus on the paper will stop it refocusing.

That's beautiful! Will the ink stain the inside part of barrel of the waterbrush as you put the ink directly into it?

Good question! It doesn't stain the barrel--there is a chance that the bristles of the brush will get stained but that shouldn't impact the the brush at all :)

does the brush come clean after having color in it?

Does putting the color inside your brush mess the brush up?

Omg so beautiful!! I've lately been obsessed with brush lettering. I recently started practicing it. Though, I tried the technique you showed, but the lighter colour inside my brush didn't come out. Do I have to squeeze the water cartridge to get the colour out? Even when I do that, one big blob of water squeezes out of my brush. This ruins the script, and there isn't a gradient.

Thank you for your comment! I do squeeze a little bit but not too hard. Try squeezing and dabbing the brush lightly on a paper towel before putting it to the paper. It may help! :)

I'm a lefty and I'm practicing water brush calligraphy but everytime I write long words my hand always smudges the word before it. what should I do/whats your trick?
