Happy to see you back on the Pink ❤
This is honestly one of my favourite songs by Pink Floyd. Something about it just takes you to the journey. It's one of the more simple songs by them, but there's just something about it. I can listen to it over and over again, it's so catchy and beautiful.
This song came about, according to David Gilmour, because he and Nick Mason were afraid to fly. To overcome their fears, they both learned how to fly and became what are now experienced pilots. That's how you handle a fear! And thats how we get another great song!
Music is my cure for what ails me. Loneliness, hopelessness, emotionally out of gas, frustration, celebration and lack of concentration. The answer is MUSIC. Since finding your channel, I have to say adding you to the equation, adds another dimension to the journey. Forever grateful you do what you do💕
Woooo! Pink Floyd ❤❤❤ "just an earth-bound misfit, I" 🎶
Back in fucking elite form! 🔥
You have barely touched the surface of the universe of great music.

I'm looking forward to each discovery he makes! He's going to have his mind blown!😆🤣🤣🤣
The Pink Floyd playlist continues to grow, and I am freaking here for it. Loved it!
I just love your Pink Floyd reactions. Only certain people get this band....and that goes all the way back to the beginning of their conception. You get them!! Love you for that. Keep up the great work on your channel. ❤❤❤❤
Yes! Now you gotta see the video! This was the first single without Roger Waters after he left the band. David Gilmour really stepped up I love this song. It’s probably my favorite song from that year- 1987.

Me too. I remember hearing it on the radio, and then buying the album as soon as I could. Fell immediately into the rabbit hole and never came out again 😊

Me three! It was so unlike anything else on commercial radio!
I agree! A beautiful flight!
Welcome back mate. Another one from Pink Floyd that I think you would really enjoy is Coming Back to Life. Pulse concert version for sure.
My favorite Pink Floyd song. I always tear up envisioning what it would be like to be able to take flight.
58, grew up on Pink Floyd and Genesis, paid up Renegade, Good music is good music regardless of genre and era.
Floyd is 🔥. ❤❣❤❣
Yes! Loved the reaction! Vinyl records were engineered to be a journey, composing songs to play one after the other to invoke the best of your senses - release the endorphins! And it worked. When we hear songs on the radio we expect for the next song on the record to be played immediately after, our brains are just wired that way. You just don't get that journey in today's "playlist" mindset. Take 20 minutes out of your busy day to listen to side A of any vinyl record, you will be glad you went on that journey!
Hector welcome to the world of Floyd i hope you will still be listening to floyd in 50 years time like we are, the music is timeless and your reactions are so spot on. unlike so many reactors you actually GET IT you feel the music it take your soul to new heights.Dont ever stop, there are track yet to come that will make your mind leave your body and as you look down on yourself you will say "what the fuck just happened "😊
One of my favorite Floyd songs!
Fuck it's good to see you again brother!

Pink Floyd!! Yay! 🩷
Great reaction 👍🎶👀 Great to have you back 😎
Yes pink Floyd! I love your reaction choices Brainsqueeze! I did miss your face! And way to go for making backups for everything!
Another great song. It makes me feel like flying. Some songs just do it. Another song that gives me that feeling is “Midnight Sun,” by Asia. It is an early 80’s song that makes the heart soar. Both of these songs make me imagine flying over snowy mountains in bright sunlight. Beautiful, man. I grew up with Pink Floyd, Styx, ELO, Kansas, Moody Blues, Alan Parsons Project and Jethro Tull. Who needed drugs? The music always transported me where I needed to go. Love ya, pal.
finally another pink floyd song. legit love all these videos
Another fantastic song from a fantastic group. Definitely playlist material. Glad you enjoyed it.. Big hugs/ Much love Brother
Damn I’ve been recommending this for so long it feels good to be here :’) thanks man, make sure to check One Of These Days!

I miss your face!! I miss all of your reactions! ❤ Miss Pink Floyd and ELO
This is taken from the 'A Momentary Lapse of Reason' album. It was the first album they made as a three piece, after Roger [bass & lyricist] left. He unanimously declared that Pink Floyd was 'over'. The others said " Not so fast..... ". It also saw the official return of Richard Wright on keyboards. He had been 'sacked' by Roger, for not writing enough songs, even though Roger wanted to write all of the lyrics, and produce, anyway. Richard had been employed as a salaried musician on tours, so ironically was probably the only one who came out with any money at the end. They brought in Guy Pratt on bass for tours [ see the Pulse 'Comfortably Numb'], who still plays with Nick Mason's 'Saucerful of Secrets' band. They put out two live albums, 'Delicate Sound of Thunder' & 'Pulse', and then 'The Division Bell', which you have already covered a few tracks from. Richard died of cancer in 2008, marking the real end of the band, although there had been their one & only reunion as a four piece - through a welter of acrimony & lawsuits that had flown back & forth between Roger & the band, and particularly David, at 'Live 8'. That must have taken all of Geldof's charm & diplomacy. Richard also played on several of David's tours. They released just one short album after Richard's death, 'The Endless River', although that is really just a collection of snippets & works in progress from the studio. David continues to tour his solo material, but occasionally slips in a few PF pieces. Nick has his own band, playing mostly early material, up to about 'Meddle' era. Roger flogs grand stadium versions of 'The Wall' around the world, plus an occasional new solo piece. His " remake" of DSotM was not exactly received with rapture. All of the old material is continually repackaged, remixed & remastered.

These latter albums mark a notable change in direction for the band. Gone were Roger's existential musings, and complaints about the death of his Father in WWII. There is still a 'depth' to the lyrics, but the focus has changed. David brought in his new wife Polly Sampson to assist with the lyrics. The music remains as brilliant as ever, although the bass is possibly more subdued.
Almost broke my finger pressing on this och 😂

During the lead up to the Momentary Lapse sessions Gilmour was sometimes late . He was getting his pilots license at the time and when anyone asked why he wasn't in the reply was "He's learning to fly" Turned out to be the impetus for the song.

Yes yes yes yes yes!!!!!!!
One of my favorites!!❤❤❤
Hell yes! Pink Floyd!❤❤❤
Good to see you again my friend. Keep on truckin'.
Love this Floyd song, such a soaring experience. A Led Zeppy one day, Pink Floyd the next…. he’s back baby ❤ !!
Mark Hector only abuses one drug, and that drug is Pink Floyd! Great reaction, Mr Hector!
I had a panic attack when I couldn't find your reactions. I'm glad you're back ❤
Great to see you back and back with some Floyd. Personally I prefer the Pulse version of this - the percussion is crazy with visuals to match (of course).
I absolutely LOVE seeing the younger generation discover real music with substance! One of my favorites! Check out "High Hopes"!
Glad to see you back man. I've missed your videos.
Yay! I have been waiting for this one! Welcome back!
Love you Mark! Thanks for more Floyd!
FINALLY!!!! YES! A return to Pink Floyd!!!!!!!!
Here for Ren and all other wonderful music. Pink Floyd is my zone out :)
Welcome back My Friend. Fantastic News 😊 Ronnie SCOTLAND
Coming back to life my friend
Like a f'ing shooting star... What a f'ing FABULOUS description!!!!
This is good, the Pulse one is great!
You must see the performance Pulse 1994 at Earl’s Court Concert, from the start to the end. You will be amazed.
Love your reactions Mark, you may want to react to "run like hell" the finale to the pulse concert, the intro will have you feeling like your nerves are being plucked individually and it's one of the best finale's I've ever seen, if you do react to it,,,, keep you eye on the bassist towards the end, keep it up mate,
You would love David Gilmore, the guitar and vocals on Pink Floyd, the song There's no way out of here, give it a listen it is a hidden gem.
I hope you got a secondhand buzz from all the smoke I blew at the screen. With Pink Floyd, I'm always learning to fly.
There's no sensation to compare with this!
I just saw an interview with Gilmore and he wrote that song when he was literally learning to fly a plane ✈️ ❤
Also check Echoes studio version and Run Like Hell!
I saw an interview Gilmore said he wrote this when he was literally learning to fly a plane .. The live version pulse concert has the most epic show the visuals are amazing The guy that hops to hit the high hats The light show.. I could go on and on Please watch it ❤❤❤❤😊 I want to see your reaction it will be epic as well lol 😂
Pink Floydien here.
every some pink floyd!!!!!!
Ok Mark. I think you know how I feel. You are the best.
You blow my brain, just so Hector!
I listen to music every day to zone out of the events of this world. What better way to do it than with you Hector!? ❤😊
LETS GOOOOO
One of the best reactors I’ve ever seen. Please do not stop. I began from when you reacted to 2pac and I’m still here listening everyday. Keep up the good work. I would be happy if you started reacting to some logic, more Eminem and some J-Cole. I know you have but there’s so many underrated songs you haven’t. If you like bars. React to ‘The Ringer’ by Eminem. Pleaseeeee haha
The first Floyd album I ever heard - A Momentary Lapse of Reason! And then I went and did what your doing now and discovered my fave band ever! This album will always be special to me!
Your a trip! I was one too and still am!!😅
Good shyt. Yea as already stated, this song was based on Gilmour's personal experience with flying. Keep up the great work.
Great video. I love watching you react to Pink Floyd. By far my favorite band. I know you are always listening. But your mind will explode when you listen to Pink Floyd’s “One of these days”. Or on a tough day and you NEED a pick me up, try Fearless by Pink Floyd. They are off the same album.
It's almost like you had a momentary lapse of reason.

Slightly unusual, there is also a 'music video' to go along with this, which is not an excerpt of concert footage.

Have you ever heard Billy Thorpe, Children of the Sun?
Damn good to hear your voice. Face, not so much, voice, hell yeah. ;)
Great reaction. I recommend watching the PULSE LIVE version of Learning To Fly. It is a beautiful performance.

Next Floyd song .. "Fearless"..... welcome back brother
La versione dal live PULSE è la migliore di tutte
Please do this from pulse mate ❤
I Love your Reactions dude!! Hope you react to Rush-2112!!
Good. One. Mark! This was the first song on their first album post-Roger Waters. I'd say they got on pretty well without Roger, especially getting Richard Wright back in the exchange. Keep them coming, man! Dare you to tackle Atom Heart Mother sometime 😎
Dogs of war
Hey Mr. Hector, i have a rare gem for you. Check out The Narrow Way Parts 1-3. Only a couple of other reactors have done this song, and I mean only 2 reactions. So, a double gem i guess, idk.
