Wow! This is impressive work. You're obviously speaking a second language, yet everything is covered quickly, thoroughly, and well-explained. Very helpful animations, which i assume you created. I could go on and on but I'll end in saying, you even visualized a viewer's response to your video, imagined their questions, and covered them too. Bravo! Oh, most tournament games are best of seven, with four games needing to be won, in order to win the match. But I'm sure you know that. Very helpful vid here!

Finally a place where top spin and back spin are properly explained. What I previusly found was just talking and very fast moving, no graphics to show it in a clear way. Thank you, now I got it.

if your opponent fails to legally contact the ball before coming back to your side, it is your point

To be honest at that point of time I felt that its disrespectful to call it ping pong 😝 Ping pong sounds recreational where as table tennis sounds professional. 🤔 Where are you from? I think its called ping pong in American continent only, but not sure.

At the time of service if ball doesn't touch the racket and fall would the point count to opponent?

After I toss up the ball, if the ball drop directly on the floor without touching my bat or table, will my opponent get a point? Or It’s a reserve?

If you tried to serve and missed the ball then you lose the point but if you were not trying to serve and just dropped the ball then it's okay. It's little subjective and depends upon umpire.

Bro hit the ball in full tose or not at bounce and direct came to bat its point or not

2 other finer points on serving. The serve must be behind the edge of your side of the table and the ball must be above the imaginary extended level of the table when the serve is struck. You always see friendly games where someone is hiding the ball, reaching into the table and quickly flicking it with the paddle to surprise the opponent. In a sanctioned match, that is 100% illegal.

You forgot one. When you serve the ball into the net and it bounces back onto your side of the table or hits the floor, you lose that point.

I play table tennis well and am the best TT player in my school but idk the serve rules when to serve and when not to😢

No...if the service fails means..if I serve and the ball hit on my side of the table but instead of hitting the opponents court..the ball falls out of the table..then there is no re-serve..and the point goes to the opponent...but in case by chance..If I serve and the ball hits my side of the table and but before it hits the opponent's side it slides the net and then hits the opponent's side then it will be a reserve and if it continues then the reserves will also continue until the ball touches my side and directly to the opponent's side of the table....hope I succeded to make you understand....

A "racquet" is defined as a framework covered by a netting or strings. A TT paddle is not that. BUT! ITTF accepts calling it a racquet.🙄

It's like everything else in sports. Americans call it ping pong and rest of the world call it table tennis. Same things is there for football/soccer. Our guess is that you are not from US and we can understand your frustration with the ping pong name.

For what it’s worth I’m from the UK. As for the ‘name’ of the sport, when I played it competitively, (as an amateur), my friends and family would often ‘wind me up’ by calling me a ‘ping-pong’ player, something which at that time was considered to be a derogatory term. That said, to think that recently the US hosted the World Table Tennis, (or should I say Ping Pong) Championships@@TheSchoolOfSports
