Oh I loved his music got to meet him in San Antonio concert very humble man. Before he passed away, last of the true delta blues man.
Any one wanting to learn the blues Pinetop is the perfect place to start, His lineage has it all fantastic for guitar players to fiddle with, not sure if it was intentional but several years with muddy waters would certainly have a impact love this tune along with all his others he's that talented !
Blues perfection.
found you pinetop perkins here in 2021 bless you RIP

Encore un blues "à mourir" je pourrais l'écouter sans arrêt : la nostalgie qu'il provoque est merveilleuse, quel talent !!!
Il est dans une classe spéciale des meilleures blues men.
Beautiful
I saw him at Bucks in La Porte so many times. Somewhere I have pictures of him hamming it up for my camera. Got a few of him chopping keys too.

A sort but related side story. . . I kept seeing this lady driving around town . . . She look quite familiar but I could place her. Reddish hair with a blonde streak at her part. It took two years to figure out who she was. Bonnie Raitt. I think at the time she was working with Pine Top on an album. Silly me. I’m 64 now. I must have been 39 or so then. Thank you for the comment.
wonderful
ça c'est du blues !! magnifique
Aye and it really IS 4:00 in the mornin’...
Conveniently 4:20 as well as April 16th...suddenly I feel the sensation to smoke one on me Birthday making sure I'm listening to Pinetop play 4 O' clock in The Morning! Just saying...Peace.
Just the blues....play it loose !!!!!
Poetry on a piano
The man could dress in some awesome clothes.
You don't need a sheet if you understand how the song works
I couldn't see this on your site, do you have it?
