Pineapple Jam

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Full recipe available at sodelicious.recipes/recipe/Pi...
How about spreading some pineapple jam and butter on your toast, this morning? It pairs well with your tea, or what have you. You only need 1 hour, a saucepan, and 3 ingredients. You can add more lemon juice if you feel like it.

Add cinammon sticks and a couple of cardimom .... grew up in Mombasa, Kenya. Grandma and her daughters .... my mom and her sisters, would spend the entire day making it. As kids, we were tasked to go to the local market early in the morning with dad ... he would find the local farmer with the largest, fresh ripe pineapples ... as kids our next task was to help peel and cut up the pineapples into tiny pieces so grandma could direct and show her daughters how to do it ... also the warning that if you didn't help, you could'nt eat it ... So we stirred the huge cauldron size pot so it would'nt stick or burn ... god help you if that happened. Made in large quantity to be shared by everyone. Spread on toast with a little fresh cream .... 🤯 wow. 😋 Awesome memories.... and the taste??? Amazing. 😛😋😝😜🤪🤣🤣🤣🤣

This is NOT how you make Pineapple Jam.... it looks burnt and disgusting... I should know... I do this for a living.

@@foodtrees LOL You haven't seen nor tasted mine yet you want to call it "regular level". Does that NOT sound dumb to you? You don't cook it down for OVER AN HOUR. It burns the fruit... no pectin, right amount of sugar, or bottled lemon juice for safe ph levels... this isn't even shelf stable...

The sugar stirred in was allowed to caramalize ... there are variations ... of course ... and you may do this for a living, yet your method is not the only one. Each to their taste. 😋😜

i heard the background music and i thought i recognized it, after a few seconds i realized, it was the song my school would use when they would ring the bell that would signal the start of recess or lunch
