Just a tip since I live in Singapore, when you are in Sum Lim Square and you want to buy and tech things do not go and buy from the stores on the first and second stories as all of their prices are OVER PRICED because it where all the tourist mainly explore. from the fourth floor onwards the prices are all pretty decent

HK) have some sort of house/apartment/holding company/buildings in Singapore, and they're given permission to stay in SIngapore 'Resident Permit'. Most of these guys are worth 100+ Million to idk how many billions. Thus making the most of the singapore top 1%. Why are they given resident permit? because they can spend their money in Casinos, Shops etc.

***** I can stream 1080p content from 3-4 devices simultaneously anywhere in my house with no buffering. Get a better router or troubleshoot your channel configurations. Make sure you're using 2.4GHz if you want more range.

KashiwaDaisuke I don't use wifi, but everyone I know who does use wifi has horrendous experiences with it. Objectively, Wifi is best unless you're using mobile devices (obviously)

Welcome to the life of a internet installer. This is abysmal work, but understandable under the circumstances. Now do a follow up video where the client wants 100% speed on all his devices anywhere inside and outside his house, does not want to see any cabling, but his house has no cable ducts or ceiling to run the cable through.

@@dontakeshit in that situation a wifi mesh or a EoP (ethernet over power) kind of setup is pretty much your only choice. Unless you can convince the client to allow you to drill holes and run the cable along the outside of the house.

You gotta be careful at Sim Lim. I've bought some cables there that I discovered were rusted internally because it's so humid there and they leave the doors open in the building all the time.

I remember watching this video when it came out years ago. And now, KZread recommendations are making me feel old.

I dont understand a single word this guy says but i watch all of his videos cause he has likeable personality.

ok so in a nutshell he goes to a shop gets cable doen't get something for attachment has to make do. gets router/modem almost get scammed (or maybe he does) goes home talks about how bad/good net speed is in different parts of the house installs modem/router starts talking tech jazz says that 2.4 GHz is slow af says 5 GHz is fast af gets good net. And yes this IS "in a nutshell" for this video otherwise you wouldn't understand

I lived in Singapore for 3 years and man, let me tell you, it's like heaven! It rains every day(which I love), all the markets are walking distances away, and it's full of tech gizmo shops. Anyone thinking about taking a trip to Malaysia should definitely visit Singapore!

+Rory Jakobs Not sure if it's the same in Singapore, but in Japan I noticed all the buildings looked pretty run down, even if they were very nice from every other aspect. Apparently in Japan it's very difficult to resell and existing building, as there's a stigma on second hand buildings. As a result pretty much everything is new built, reconstructed every few years. Because you're not selling the building, much more focus goes into making it functional for you, instead of making it pretty.

This is my first time watching this channel after seeing it for years

2:50 This was me when me and my dad went to Sim Lim to check out some lenses for a camera

I remember watching this when it was first uploaded and now coming across it through autoplay and it really makes me appreciate these videos. It's just the whole home video style with editing to me. Their higher production value stuff is nice too but this is something I can relate to more.

mfirdhaus Give an example how much the cheapest car you can get. For a the cheapest MyVi 1.3 is least RM 43 K ( 16K SGD ) le....if converted to SGD of course it's cheap to you , because your Currency is way higher. Not to mention your Salary. Try making a living here and being a citizen here then you will know. Im not saying SG is cheap as well ,but hey your not the only one who's having hard time so there are way worst countries honestly. Im curios do you guys started importing the Mustang GT yet the 5.0 V8 , Im wondering what the price there if you do. In USD it's 33K $ , we are selling for RM 500K here. Do the math, the difference is 100K $ Tell me it's not overpriced...and this has nothing to do with GST , FYI

Eric Tan Our COE alone (Certificate of entitlement) could buy up to 5 if not more of your "cheapest car" there. The COE does not even include the cost of the car. For many,the COE costs more than the car itself
