Honestly, first time I'm ever hearing that 3's the worst. And I'm shocked. I know some people were "meh" on its more linear structure. But usually, people were more inclined to say "2 is the worst" even if I didn't agree. Then again. I couldn't really even tell you which of the 4 I feel are the worst. They're all just too good to pick a least favorite. Unless we want to count Hey Pikmin, or Pikmin Bloom. But that feels like comparing apples to oranges.

Pikmin 3 is the best if you have someone to do couch co-op with for the challenge mode

As a person with 500+hours in pikmin 3, its so nice to see someone experience it for the first time.

Don't forget the Olimar side modes of this game, if you liked the Dandori Challenges of Pikmin 4, you'll enjoy the side modes of this game most definitely.

Yessss, my absolute favorite part of Pikmin 4 are the Dandori challenges, so having just recently started Pikmin 3, I was so happy with what I played from Olimar's side mode and the challenges. People say this game is too easy but honestly I think it's a good difficulty and it feels super rewarding to play effectively.

Fun fact: If you go back to Day 0, you can see that the "most of the food stores" they're talking about is a grand total of 4. They thought they would get enough fruit to save the planet in 7 days, and then crash landed leaving only 3.

Do mission mode it’s the best part of 3! Also your pikmin series is genuinely one of the best pieces of content on KZread I have rewatched the multiple times and it still makes me laugh and has helped me get through some tough days

So happy we got to hear your iconic catchphrase, "Let there be light.", So happy you said it again.

It's only the worst because it's easy and short, but it's still a wonderful game. It's like going to an award winning michelin star steakhouse and getting their fourth best steak. It's still gonna be a dang good steak either way.

It’s only the worst one because it’s super lacking in content compared to the previous game (and it’s hella easy). If you’ve never played a Pikmin game before I’m sure it’s great lol

@@poyokki pikmin 4's campaign is easier to beat than 3's if you don't bother 100%ing stuff, but if you want to 100% it its way harder than 3. like, at no point in 3's campaign did i ever lose more than like 10 pikmin in a day lol

@@somerandomguy-3102 imma be honest the way pikmin 3 implemented "hard mode" doesnt actually make it harder, it just makes things take longer to do. it doesnt adjust damage values or anything it just reduces the number of pikmin you can have out at a time

(10 is the minimum) Pikmin 3's difficulty was actually very well thought out, with the main campaign being easy to complete, (for newcomers) but the game also pushes you to play fast, and multi-task (for veterans). 10 day 100% runs in pikmin 3 are gruelingly difficult. Pikmin 4 on the other hand is mindlessly easy until post-game. (And by post-game, I mean the Sage challenge as the Olimar tale is still very easy) Plus most pikmin losses in 4 can most likely can be attributed to the terrible auto-aim, that you can't turn off.

Honestly Pikmin 3 was and is Underrated. It also introduced many aspects of Pikmin 4 such as Auto-locking and onion combining.

This is the best channel to watch while high I've been laughing the whole time. The peanut brittle bit almost made me pee my pants

I think 1's the worst, cause like while it paves the way for the others, it controls the worst, has the least content, and that content isn't the best we've seen from the series. But I'll say it, there's not a single bad mainline pikmin game (hey pikmin could be good I don't know as it's the one I have yet to play)

​@@NeoCinnamon my first pikmin game was hey! Pikmin, and compared to every other pikmin game i played afterwards, its decent! It feels like a different game while still maintaining the pikmin aesthetic

tip for the next time you play: you can go to the drake and call all pikmin outside of the safe area during sunset. and about pikmin 3, it's my favorite in the series because of how fast you can do the game and cut so many corners, like killing the armored mawdad on the same day you rescue brittany and being able to retrieve everything from it and the lime. there's just so much dandori potential.

This was the first Pikmin game I ever played. I enjoyed it. Because of that, I got the first two for switch.

I don't know why the juice is so satisfying to collect, but it is. Maybe it's the colour mixing when you make it. The Plasm Wraith is a whole deal, though. I'd rather the Waterwraith than the Plasm, and the Waterwraith terrifies me. XD

3 ranks at the bottom for me because of how strictly linear the opening hours are, and that forced linearity lasts MUCH longer than any other game in the series. I understand the purpose of doing this was to add cinematic cutscenes and enhance the presentation, but to me, i prefer Pikmin's tone to be more like a wildlife documentary than an epic, cinematic movie. Pikmin is about the epxloration of an alien planet first and foremost, and i felt like the linearity and focus on characters took too much attention away from what makes Pikmin truly special. I also felt that, even though 4 has the base with a large roster of characters, the level design truly embraced the exploration that made 1 and 2 ao memorable in the first place. 3 definitely is in contention for best OST of the bunch though, really, REALLY excellent music

I was not even aware that anyone thought 3 was the worst one. Sure it's really easy, but my only other major point against it is that it's short... which means I wanted more of it. Because it's good.

I just replayed Pikmin 1-3 these last few weeks. Pikmin 2 was easily my least favorite. The underground sections were tedious and annoying. Pikmin 1 was excellent, but Pikmin 3 was the only one I completed in 2 gaming sessions, because I couldn't put it down. That's happened every time I've played it. Pikmin 1 is so short that 1 gaming session is possible, but there is just something about 3 that I love so much. Difficulty is not an issue, whether the game is hard or easy. It's just about whether the game is fun to play. Pikmin 2 just was not fun while Pikmin 3 continues to be a phenomenal experience.

Honestly if you cut 2 in half and balanced out the caves with more overworld stuff, you'd have a much better game. Pikmin 2 just goes on and on and by the end it feels like you're just going from one marathon cave with a bunch of difficult enemies to another. Combine that with controls that feel way more clunky than newer entries and you've got a pretty exhausting experience that I struggle to go back to.

@@LumiOfFrost I'd say shorten Wistful Wild. Give me a smaller area with more accessible caves, or just reduce it to one final cave. I don't want to have to repeatedly battle difficult enemies as i venture across the map just to find three different caves that all feel relatively the same, especially not for the final level. Final Trial and Formidable oak both benefitted from having one goal to work towards rather than being larger areas. Pikmin 4 gets away with having a larger area by segmenting story progression, having a moveable base and no respawning enemies.

I still managed to play and complete the debt 3 times and I enjoyed most of It Since the Overworld Areas are big enough to be a nice refresher after going through multiple dungeons and I find most dungeons to be fun to go through and see how fast I could complete every floor while not losing my limited amount of Pikmin I could bring.

I've been playing all the pikmin games ever since 1+2 came out for the switch and I have to say.. I don't get the "hate" for this one or any of them for that matter! To me 3 was pretty much 2 but with 3 characters even tho maybe not as challenging. If I had to pick the weakest game... Maybe i'll be controversial about it, but as beautiful and fun as the 4 is (btw I love the game to bits just as much as the others), I can't help but feel it oddly emptier compared to the others previous ones? Once you beat an area, theres kinda less of a reason to visit them since creatures do not respawn. Yeah there's no reason to visit finished places in the previews games either, but I feel they were a bit more inviting even if just to poke at enemies. Again still love them all tho!

Pikmin 1 is for people that love stranded survival stories. Pikmin 2 is for people that hate fun. Pikmin 3 is for people that were too young to play Pikmin 1. Pikmin 4 is for people that forgot how bad Pikmin 2 was.

This is my favorite pikmin game i think. The main three aren’t fleshed out at all but i still like them. And the soundtrack and the bosses and something about it feels so refreshing every time i play 😁🫶

i have never seen anyone claim pikmin 3 was the worst one before pikmin 4 came out the majority said pikmin 3 was their favorite about 40% said pikmin 2 was their favorite and a small percent said pikmin 1 was their favorite i strongly believe that anyone who says pikmin 4 is better than pikmin 3 is delusional and i actually saw no criticism of it until the switch version came out which is a worse version because its twice as easy and no longer tells you the names of enemies, fruits and objects when you lock on

As a person whos only ever played pikmin 3, I dont have anything to compare it to😭

The worst one is actually hey pikmin, but thats a completely different type of game and is made by a different developer so we don’t typically count that one. I don’t think any of the 4 main pikmin games are bad, but I think 2 and 4 are better than 3. 1 is maybe tied with 3 in my opinion.
