@@TheReZisTLust Yeah... its really sad because Pikmin 3 had some cool concept art for a big Bulbmin-Bulbear that you could ride across bodies of water with, almost exactly like Oatchi does in Pikmin 4. Oatchi shoulda been a Bulbmin instead.

@@TheReZisTLusta bulborb wouldn’t make sense because 1. bulborbs are native to pnf-404, meanwhile the rescue crew and oatchi is foreign. and 2. the naming motif for the rescue team members wouldn’t make sense if oatchi wasn’t a dog. they’re all named after dog breeds.

I have major guilt over losing even one Pikmin, so much so I've finished the game without losing a single one which is possible but very hard. I never get to experience the game in a natural playthrough where I had to lose Pikmin, so I get to enjoy someone else go through the dark thoughts in the back of my mind telling me "Just sacrifice a few Pikmin... It's for your own good. For the debt. And the safety of the other Pikmin..."

heres the thing about the kleenex thing: if a brand name becomes indistingushable from a product, the name is considered public domain and cant be copywrighted. its why photoshop says "images modified with the image editing software photoshop" instead of "photoshopped" - because it would mean theyd lose copyright. so you SHOULD call every tissue a kleenex!

I hope you do the other half, but ultimately it is up to you and I don't want you to do it if you're not gonna like it (based on that ending but I might be looking at it wrong.)

Dude LOVED your playthrough, definitely sending this to my partner lol.

I find it crazy how many people are saying that pikmin 2 is hard or unfair. In all the time Ive played it, Ive never struggled nearly as much as these newer players have in terms of losing pikmin to avoidable issues like bombs, electric and traps. Even as a kid, I may have hit a snag or two with wollywogs or careening dirigibugs, but 100% with no deaths isn't that hard at all.

the only commentary gameplay i enjoyed watching and not playing it in the background while I do something else

This game had the two most annoying sound effects. The treasure gauge constantly pinging when you obviously know there is treasure as it’s the point of the game, and the computer ship constantly making alert comments about everything.

You did not even come close to finishing the debt. There is an entire area that you can only access after the debt that has the final boss in it.
