Hi bud, about 8+ years late to the ballgame here, but your vid popped up in my Recommended List. Went out this Sunday morning to the grocery story to buy some Ballparks and crescent rolls to make this tonight. Remembered these as a kid in the late 60s when my Mom had had enough of me and my brother. LOL Was a fun meal. Brought back good memories. Thanks so much :)

My 9yo made these yesterday and added cheese and jalapeños inside. He pointed me to this video on how he learned about them. Came out awesome, thank you!

I make these for a Christmas eve/ New Years eve treat! I cut the hot dogs in half, and I always use red snappers, which are a New England variety of hot dog.

Can you cook these on a stove and. Cover them????

I used to make these all the time but it was one of those things I had to give up because it was too much of a good thing. I miss making and eating them. They are excellent for kids meals. Kids love them.

If your dough is difficult to open, try chilling the container a little while. This will chill the dough and it won't stick as much when you open the tube. I started eating these with a dab of relish on the side, somebody did that, and I wanted to try it, and yum, it was a good discovery. My mom used to make them plain, then later on down the line she added chili and cheese on top of them. She would put it back in the oven until the chili was heated up and the cheese was melted

Hi Jay, that's just regular *mustard* the other condiment is relish. I don't know many that use relish, but - I had a friend do this about 30 years ago, I tried it, and went wow, ok this is good. Thanks so much for watching ! 😊
