Glad you mentiones Evans! Really underated player. Watched him in the Nashville game live, and he stood out. He was probably with Suzuki was the hardest working Hab that night!

I wonder if Pierre would have predicted that he would be fired by the Sens, not even 1 year there. 🤔

People forget Evans started the 2021 playoffs playing left wing on our first line. VERY underrated player.

Can we really count Suzuki as too small when he's listed at 212 lbs ? There's quite a bit of muscle on those bones 44:51

Best way to defend him is have him learn to fight. If he gets angry and beats the shit out of someone really badly itll send the message. If it still continues put Florian on his line!

Eiserman or Iginla, both should be available to Montreal at 6th or 7th...also Yakemchuk or Parekh which could become Montreal's futur best defenseman. Pretty hard to say which one Montreal will pick ???

75% of those players wont be playing for habs in 2-3yrs, either because they never made it to nhl, or retired, traded, etc, and if your 6ft and 190, its not a long way off from 6'1 198. Whats would more concerning is 5'10 or less, and or under 190

Pierre's talk about reviewing the good/bad re-Anderson is useless. He's seen it on video before. He needs a mental-performance-coach like Armia and Primeau used. They should impose it, he is an employee. Unfortunately they have to hold on to their buy-out for someone like Gallagher. Suzuki is a #1A or B center, terrific player, but as the Captain, uncontested. Sam Bennet has always been very tough and talented.

Great show Tony and Pierre lots of respect ,however tell Pierre too go back to first half of season ,and Tony like myself didnt think Suzuki and Caufield were first liners. How ever Pierre and Craig have always said that Suzuki was. But just disappointed that Tony didnt speak up and admit he wasnt thinking Suzuki and Caufield were first liners ,and i can admit i thought the same as Tony. And i changed my mind that Suzuki can be but not convinced on Caufield , need to see more from Caufield to see if that changes . However to accept Pierre saying Tony always thought Suzuki was a first liner is bs cause all you have to to do is go back through the episodes before Pierre wasnt even brought on as a colaborator. Tony only changed his mind as listening continually to Craig and Pierre and Eric continually saying Suzuki was a first line center and i said the same as Tony . And i too now can say Suzuki is proving us wrong. However i admit what i have said and i dont accept credit for things that i wasnt saying originally . He should ve spoke up and said no Pierre i cant take credit for believing Suzuki was a first line center. But he preferred to have his feathers fluffed and accept praise for an untruth. Just go back through the tapes. And i dont say that to cause bad feelings ,cause i m a fan of Tony s . However i will call out bs when i see it . I just would ve expected Tony to speak up and stop and Tell Pierre no i Tony wasnt always saying saying Suzuki was a first liner . Tony thought Suzuki was a second line center ,and i was just as guilty and have changed my mind as well on Suzuki cause he s proving us wrong. However dont accept credit falsely for something you didnt think. I can admit that i didnt think Suzuki was either. But i dont go around taking credit for something i didnt think. The past episodes can prove this . As much as i m Tony s fan , i have noticed between Eric , Pierre ,and Craig , Tonys has changed alot of his views of his own . Still a fan . But just practice honesty. I can understand your mind changed on Suzuki because Craig and Pierre seem to have been right . But i just have noticed Tonys not quite the same in his opinions ,hes influienced muchly these days where he s swayed by those 3 colaboraters . I muchly prefered when Tony stuck to his own opinions thats what made him great. Hopfully we ll see that again .Sorry i m just disappointed, and hold a person to their own words which past episodes can prove. I hate to say it Tony has become a but fickle . Just be honest ,thats all i say , i admit on Suzuki i was with you i didnt think he was a # 1 center . But i can admit i said it. And i hope it taken as constructive criticism, cause its not meant ti be nasty, i just would like to see honesty.Hope to see the Toby i was use too from radio show.

Habs have to play Pez, Arber, and Anderson. The forward group is still a bit too small. Cole, Galley, Newhouse, Evans, Harvey-Pinard and if you add in Hutson makes a size/compete issue come playoff time.

Newhook is still like 200pounds 5’11 so he’s not really that small. Him and Suzuki are only about an inch shorter then average but weigh more then average NHL hockey player. I do agree though on size being a little small right now though. But hopefully in next few seasons we will see someone like Florian come into line up have Pez and Anderson Armia Devo Roy next season all 6ft - 6’4 195-225 plus whoever they bring in will hopefully be on bigger side. Montreal will have some big Def too so I think when it’s all said and done it should be okay

There is no such thing as a team that has 10 elite players. If a team has 4-5 stars thats a solid team usually, but if you lose 2 of them, then your just an average or below average team. Only so much your 3rd and 4th line players can do.
